Rangers in GVG
Ok I am playing the ranger and loving it. I only do pvp. So looking around the guild battles, i find there are no rnagers, because they are supposed as weak.
There are Cripes, Flag Runners, and Poisoners. So I want to hear your sucess story with a Ranger in gvg or pvp, maybe even post the build

I wonder why not R/W runners? Bunny Thumpers are good, but why not runners?

Watch WM sometime, they always use a ranger with poison, cripshot, and interrupts. They aren't uncommon at all if you look in the right places
I don't PvP alot, other than 12vs12, and I always use a ranger there, but I've seen plenty when watching guild battles in observer.

Most R/Me flaggers use distortion over whirling because of the flagger's sporadic nature to be in enemy combat in which whirling's long recharge will probably screw you over...

Why on earth would you use sprint or rush over storm chaser or dodge?
The reason why ranger runenrs are R/Me is because distortion is very powerful and blackout means they can contribute at the flag as well.

Why would anyone use blackout as a cripshotrunner?
Either you go complete runner; Escape/BiP/Poison Arrow, dodge, pin down, whirling, res, troll, storm/applypoison
Or you go cripshot: Crippling shot, storm, troll, whirling/distortion, res, apply poison, distracting shot

So you can contribute at the flag, with a comparatively low investment of attribute points.

Touch rangers are an easily beaten gimmick. You won't see them in GvG unless the ladder is locked, or you're playing a rank 1000+ team. You'll find them in RA and ABs, because they thrive on bad players and bad teams, both are in abuncance there.

OK bunny thumpers, I enjoy the name and working on the char, how do they fare in the gvg, what should I go for, expertise and wilderness, or beastmaster?

This thread here will give you a very good Thumper build. It was just a few threads down from this one.

Ranger running builds Includes skills to attack or fight the other flag runners on a 1v1 situation , and the use of blackout is to blackout a monk during a spike which helps cut off healing and warriors to cancel out their adrenalen[bad spelling]. Cripshot ranger help spread out degen for pressure or degen builds as well also to slow down certain enemies.
