Self Sufficient W/R....
I've been thinking of builds for W/R's lately, as I haven't seen any real good ones...and I've thought up this. Note that my friend told me about VIMway( which is similiar to this build) AFTER I made this build up =p, so I didn't mean to base this on it. Anyways:
Victory is Mine!- Elite
Dismember
Executioner's Strike
Penetrating Blow
Cyclone Axe
Healing Signet
APPLY POISON!!!!
Barbed Trap-- (Can be replaced with antidote signet for condition removal or SERPENTS QUICKNESS to lower VIM'S recharge by 5 secs.)
Ok, first, set down barbed trap. Then, lure you enemies into the trap and run first into the foray, hitting VIM for HP and Energy recovery. After, throw on Apply Poision and cyclone axe the enmies when they are clumped up. Spam the heck out of dismember, executioners, and pentrating and when you can, hit VIM again. Use healing signet while VIM is recharging. Using this build IMO, monks really own't need to heal you much. Note that this is more suited for PVE than PVP. If this were to be used for PVP, swap the axe for the sword, bring along sever+gash+final (7 degeb ^.^), and bring antidote signet/serpents quickness instead of the trap. I hope for some good feedback/critism on this =)

You won't really need ViM in PvE unless it's for the energy. The ViMway build uses it because it's a huge heal for relatively no cost and effort but it's not usually enough alone. The trappers also use Healing spring. I'd go for apply poison and replace ViM with Triple Chop, it's got a nice damage bonus and it'll apply poison to adjacents.

Hmm...good point, but I have ViM in there as a great self heal-- I want to be somewhat of a tank thats not another wammo that can keep himself alive. But instead of triple chop, I'd rather take eviscerate.

Ok...
This is a team game. Using a self sufficient build in a team game is stupid. If you're solo farming, by all means make a solo build.
VIM is not needed. It is a waste of an elite in this situation. Monks will just overheal you, or VIM will overheal you. Essentialy wasting your monks energy, or wasting your elite. The healing you do recieve from VIM will be far less than you'll prevent with defensive stances and shouts. Stances/Shouts will also reduce the amount of damage, meaning your health will drop more slowly. This is good, it will almost always mean less deaths, less overhealing, and less pressure on monks.
By wasting your elite slot, you're loosing damage. You could take Eviscerate or Tripple chop. Eviscerate would free up your dismember slot...
Without going on any more, build down.
