Default Solo Thirsty, suggested builds need input

I had done this run in the past and my build went something like this,

Sever artery
Gash
Seeking Blade
Galrath Slash
Healing Breeze
Healing Hands
Mending
Sprint (optional for beginning to ghost could be rebirth if anyone tries to die off)

another i used successfuly

Sever artery
Gash
Savage Slash
Watch Yourself
Doylak Sig
Healing Hands
Healing Sig
Sprint (once again optional)

for anyone who has done this run knows that the patrols at the monk boss is a pain so you have the option to bring purge conditions but i see it as a slot waist since there is more then 1 ranger who will blind you.

Here is a new build im working on in theory and will test it soon

Sever artery
Gash
Savage Slash (for monk interupt)
Watch Yourself
Physical Resistance
Illusionary Weaponry
Healing Sig
*Open Slot

only problem with this build is there isnt a whole lot of healing so you will need all the hp's and damage reduction as possible

any input would be appretiated

The build I have had most success with is this:

Sever Artery
Gash
Galrath Slash
Savage Slash
Healing Hands
Healing Breeze
Mending
Balthazar's Spirit

I haven't used this build since the release of factions, but I think that a few new skills could be added. Sun and Moon Slash would work well instead of Galrath Slash I think.

here is my biggest prob, at the monk boss i get slammed with blinds and i cant kill him. i didnt have any probs befor factions but now there is soooooo many bowers i can get him alone even with all of them argod together.

i know when they are alone there is 3, priest / boss / and bower. the boss has to go first if i am correct because he heals the priest and bower but i am constantly blinded by the bower, if i bring ripsote he will take dmg if im blind or again illusionary weaponry

Riposte won't help against the bower or monk because it only triggers when you are hit with melee attack. This is by far the hardest thing to solo IMO because of the blind you mentioned and the fact that the archers also use concussion shot which will daze you and make casting healing breeze/hands almost impossible. The key is to lure the monk boss out of his hideout and get him and his group to aggro the other groups(s). With the monk boss distracted and having to heal his entire party from all the aggro you just brought them the priest will be easier to take down.

I have a very similar build, and since I am Thirsty River-challenged, my friend and I dual run it. However, even with this, the necro group is very tough. When we got past it by luck we beat the rest without a problem, but the conditions/hexes really get me. Any strategies for that section?

SlitUrNek, I've tried an IW build on this in the past and didn't have much luck with it due to the lack of healing you stated. You're also gonna have some serious energy issue's with that build. I would replace savage with distract blow at the least.

Here's the build I currently solo with:

Tiger Stance
sever
gash
Galrath
distracting blow
Heal hands
Heal breeze
Mending

12 Heal
9 Str
13 Sword

Tanzits Defender to reduce blind time and I switch between a furious and zealous sword.

Thumbs up

Generally my experience with past warrior chars has involved a lot of running; I used to run elona all the time pretty easily. But lately I've also been interested in soloing thirsty... Actually I think I got interested after I saw Grik solo it flawlessly, hehe. Something about demolishing entire armies solo gets your heart pumping . I tried using a build similar to Griks with to some success... Got past the first camp easily until I made the careless mistake of taking the ghost with me >.<.

I used:

Tiger Stance (speed boost for more damage+zealous gain)

Sever Artery

Gash

Silverwing Slash

Final Thrust (can be handy at quickly dispatching them, although with high cost)

Vigorous Spirit (w/ tiger stance you gain more health than HB, doesnt matter if you miss, and it lasts for 30 seconds for only 5 energy)

Healing Hands

Balthazar's Spirit (gain energy in huge amounts regardless of blindness)

Sword 16
Str 10
Healing 9

Looking back on it now my build was too offensive and not enough defensive... and considering the need to run and pull I guess healing breeze would make a better support heal considering the way the run has to be done.

I'd really like to be able to solo this this thing, so if you would be willing, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could show me how to do some parts of the solo

Talking

The build that infinite minds mentioned seems to be the most promising, but I've come accross some other interesting builds for this solo. Another promising build would be:

I Will Avenge You
Sever Artery
Gash
Final Thrust
Distracting Blow
Healing Hands
Mending/Balthazars Spirit
Restore Life

Like the other guy mentioned, running this is all about pulling them so they fight each other and using distracting blow when needed (throw dirt and many healing skills can be stopped this way).

Now:

The first part of the run is the same, just run to the first cutscene. When you get to the first gate, instruct your customers to go kamikazee in the middle of the field (suicide). From here, do the solo as you normally would. After you've finished the area, go back and res your team so they can go die at the next area. In this build IWAY can be very effective as it will give you 10 seconds of attack speed boost and 10 pips of regen for a meager 5 energy and the corpses of your run-ees. Another perk of this build is that people can't "accidently" die to avoid paying

IWAY is definately the safest way... no doubt

After seeing Grik run this mish, I decided that his build was nice, but IWAY could be easily inserted into his build

----his build----
Tiger Stance
sever
gash
Galrath
distracting blow
Heal hands
Heal breeze
Mending

----IWAY build---
Sever
Gash
Galrath
Distracting Blow( NO SAVAGE! SAVAGE=CRAP for this run)
I Will Avenge You
Healing Hands
Mending/Live Vicarously
Restore Life/Light of Dwayna

I prefer mending to liv vicarously because it adds up with the regen from IWAY.

I prefer restore life to Light of Dwayna because sometimes people don't all die in the same spot.

With that, you can survive twice as easily in comparison with just HH.

To express just how easy this is, on my first try with customers, I completed the run without a hitch.

Many people are impressed with how well it's done too, because Healing Hands is **ALMOST** not needed.

Random Tips

Always kill the Josso Esher's priest first, to do this you have to pull Josso away from his priest with other enemies, then rush in and kill the priest. This part takes the longest.

Always interupt Aegis.

In the second arena part, I like to go for the nec boss(right) first.

Throw dirt blows; Try to spot Avengers and Bows coming towards you and interupt right as they get to you

I don't use IWAY because your not exactly solo'n the mission. You have to have assistance to pull this off just like MM's needed help starting their army. Though it is done alot faster with these assisted builds than the solo ones.
