Ultimate Killer/Survival build. Very common to get 10 streaks without dying a single time. Works best when your team doesn't have a monk, as a 4th damage dealer is more useful. Extremely difficult to be killed with the exception of interrupts on troll unguent or wild blow. Melandru's only has 4 sec down time. With 2 interrupts, and very high degen, all characters will face their match here. Give it a try on a team with necros, mesmers, rangers, or warriors and enjoy winning without dying.

The primary trick to killing assassins with this build is to have apply poison and troll unguent in effect before they start to attack you.

i used to use this build quite a while back, its pretty effecient, if you could perhaps somehow squeeze in tigers fury it would make it even more fun

my dad disconnected my internet when i was at 9 (and winning the 10th), works nicely except that if you face a group that doesn't put any condition or hexes on you while your being attacked and they interupt your troll unguent your pretty much screwed. my favorite part about the build was opening one of the rounds in the lava arena (forget name) by just using melandru's and walking across the lava in the mid and only suffering from -1 hp degen, and then i was able to cut off their warrior (who loaded slowly). for some reason he thought he could win and didn't try moving...when he was rezzed some time later and i went to kill him he didn't stand still to fight me =D

One problem I had was being kited way too often, maybe fit in a snare or speedbuff like Stormchaser since you already have 16 wilderness.

got to 9 before my team got obliterated.. the guys we were against were kinda uber... had a monk, 2 mesmers and something else.. I just remember one of us being dead withing the first 20seconds >_>

Very good build, thanks for this. I made some modifications to it, namely I'm carrying "None Shall Pass" in place of one of the interrupts, it works out OK. It'd be better if my ISP wasnt lagging today. Very good build, Thanks

This is one beast of a build. All my team was dead and I killed three enemies alone. The necromancer hexing me with degen actually made me have +10 regen all the time. I took minimum damage from air spells too. The whammo did practically no damage. None of them had interrupts, so trolls kept me alive while Resilience was recharging. Excellent build!

How do I get a +30 always /-2 stance shield? I only see a -2/+45 (stance) PvP shield. :O

This build unfortunately gets torn apart by monks with mend ailment.. propably didn't help that the moron PUG I was with decided to piss around while I went after the only monk there but whatever...
Its still a good build though, and by the way, I have to say that 'You Shall Not Pass' is so damn usefull in this build. Its the snare you've been looking for, honestly

- unfortunately like I said, I had to get rid of savage slash for it, I dunno, propably not the best idea... /shrug

So the shield is basically for health / absorbing attacks? Because the ranger doesn't meet the requirements for tactics/strength for the shield.

No, this is not a joke. I got a 32 win streak using this build and yes it was 32 in a row! Worked very nicely, I died once over the entire run. You got me my glads title, excellent work A++++!

This build doesn't seem to work for me. They never pile on enough conditions for Melandru's Resilience to have any effect.
