Default A good start

Well I've looked over quite a few farming builds for my Warrior, but I can't make up my mind. Since I've never solo farmed before I'm not quite sure where to start. Any suggestions on a good place for me to start out solo farming and what kind of build I should focus on?

Well, it depends on what you want to farm. If you want to green farm then there are plenty of threads on how to W/X farm certain bosses.

Check the forum a bit. I think your question can be answered by doing a little reading.

I've done some reading, just thought maybe there was a consensus on a good place to start out. However if it's a matter of opinion, then I suppose I do have some more reading to do

Erm Pongmei Valley seems to be a good place to farm for generic rares/purples blah blah blah as for a warrior build ide use the generic cyclone axe build

10 healing or 8 depending if you want to use Mending.
X Axe (I usually have just enough for the req on my axe.)
X Tactics (Enough to get a decent duration on stances.)

Glad's Defence / Triple Chop {E}
Bonetties
Shield Stance
Cyclone Axe
Executioners
Vig Spirit
Live Vicariously
X (your choice here, depending if you try any mob that uses healing bring along disrupting chop or whatever.)

If you want to start out and learn how to manage your energy/adrenaline then I'd suggest going for melee mobs. Droknar's Forge/Talus Chute has trolls that are a good start. There's also Minotaur farming in the desert. You do this outside Augury Rock and in the beginning of the Elona's Reach mission.

If you want to go hard core then there's W/Me farming in FoW. You can also lookup the spider farming thread.

There's enough farming builds that the question doesn't need to be asked...look 2-3 threads down for ez builds. Good Luck.

If you are just starting out I suggest you kill minotaurs in elona.

Agreed. You can do 30 runs/hour, including zoning in and out, but excluding inventory clearing, which makes for fast practice. And you don't need to do much inventory clearing, since 75%ish of the drops are cash or stackables. At least, I can do them at that rate with my Slivernewal elementalist build.

Yea, went outside augury rock and took out about 10 minotaurs just to check out their skills etc. It was pretty basic, I figure I'll keep doing minotaurs until I get a skill set that I'm really happy with ;-) (plus I need money O.o )
