killer fire build for PVP 1v1 or PvE
hi. i've been playing a little RA and TA and found a good build i'd like to share with u. seems also a good potent build for PvE although not aimed for nuking
skills:
1.Mark of rodgort
2.flare
3.fireball
4.Rodgort's Invocation
5.Aura of Restoration
6.Elemental attunment
7.fire attunement
8.resurection signet (or go with Armor of earth for defence. can also use physical resistance if /me 2ndary)
Atts:
fire 16
energy 12
rest on earth or inspiration depending on skill no 8
strat.
when approaching hit dual attunments then aura of restoration last to protect the attunments. i find this build with armor spell instead of rez particularly good vs warriors. hit rod invocation then mark or rod. next follow up with flare and fireball as you see fit if you want to hurt some foes next to target fireball helps alot. this way your foe not only has the high dmg spells to worry about but also 7 pips of degen constantly since u'll also carry a fire wand/staff ;-)
Also since u'll keep up dual attunment almost all the time the spells come out dirt cheap. with AoR up mark of rodgort is also good to use as self healing since it cost base is 25E, takes only 1 sec to cast and recharges in 5.
comments are appreciated

i dont understand why people need both fire attunement and elemental attunement, especially if you're only going to have 4 attack spells in. if you want to one on one someone, you could probably take out the elemental attunement and put in...which one is it, mind burn?

Do the arithmetic and it's pretty obvious, even if you assume no interrupts, enchantment stripping, or hex removal.
Fire Attunement only leaves you with about 80 energy/minute to spend on attack spells, or a little over 100 if you also run Glyph of Lesser Energy.
Dual Attunements give you around 240 energy/minute to spend on attack spells.
Obviously, enchantment stripping can lower these figures. And I don't think interrupted spells get "rebates" from the attunements, so those can be expensive too.

I have always just used Elemental Attunement and very rarely do i run into problems energy wise. Especially if you are only going to use 4 attack spells, it just isnt necessary to have both attunements in.
