Triple Chop
I'm not exactially sure how this skill works, but when chasing a foe, this skill never connects, it seems to be having the same behaviour as Cyclone Axe where if the foe moves away, the hit never connects.
But because this skill makes you go right up to the foe just like any other warrior attack, it should connect when they run away right?
Please test it out and let me know what you think.

I'm curious about this skill too. The description isn't quite clear.
For what I gather, this skill works like either Cyclone Axe (with higher damage and a longer recharge), or Hundred Blades (sans the double hit).
My best guess is that it works like Cylone Axe, in that it hits all foes adjacent to YOU, not just foes adjacent to your target. Which pretty much just makes this skill nothing more than a beefed up Cyclone Axe with a longer recharge (10sec vs 4sec).
Of course I'll have to cap it to be sure, but on the surface, I'm not impressed.
I'll probably just stick with Cylone Axe and Eviscerate.

it hits all the target adjacent to ur target, so i believe they fixed the bug and now u can use it on someone far away and ur warrior will run up and smack it with triple chop

"Attack target foe and adjacent foes. Each attack that hits deals +10...34 damage."
From what i understand from that discription, its attack the "foe" and "adjacent foes".
Anyway this aint the point of my post, as you said yc525, tripple chop requires you to walk up to the target before it activates, just like a regular attack(examples eviserate, executioner strike, swift chop etc), so if the target were to pull alway while you just activated tripple chop, it WILL result in a failier to hit(note: there is no indication if you where blocked, evaded, missed, obstructed etc), the attack just doesn't hit at all, thus acting like cyclone axe in the same respect.
On a side note about cyclone axe, its the only warrior attack where you can activate on the spot without a enemy present, you actially have to walk right up to the foe before you can use it, i see alot of people easily avoid it by just stepping back.
anyway i cant explain any better
you really have to get the skill and see for yourself

My Triple Chop Expierence
You do have to have a foe targeted.
You can activate it and your charater will run to the target and swing.
This attack can be blocked and/or evaded.
It is GREAT for mobs when combined with Cyclone Axe, but watch your energy use. (read farming)
Although it takes 2X as long to recharge than Cyclone Axe When conbined with adreniline skill it is very usefull.
I have used it the past week with my stance/axe w/mo and had nothing but positive results.

Try troll farming by replacing glads defense with triple chop, then spamming cyclone and triple and going into bonettis. The only good use of this skill ^^

alright none of you seem to be getting it, so i'll try a senario here.
get a guildie and start a scrim 1v1, meet up in the middle of map, and get guildie to run around circles, preferbly large circles, how hit triple chop, this cause you to autochase your guildie until you manage to catch up and triple chop activates.

Curious, but, where do you cap Triple Chop(I've seen the boss many times with my ritualist, but cant find the darn thing with my Warrior).
Also, are there anymore Elite Axe skills in Factions aside from Triple Chop?

I can confirm that Triple Chop misses when your foe is moving away. I've been experimenting in arenas with this skill and it creates the same sad whooshing feeling that cyclone axe does. At least I produced enough wind to cool of the monk I was attacking. He was getting quite hot from running.

triple chop performs a similar function to cyclone axe, only you must target a foe, once targeted you hit all adjacent foes at the time that the attack goes off , which is key because the attack itself takes 3/4 of a sec or so by which time your original target can move away leaving you attacking air or that unfortunate soul next you. =P

For future reference, when you see a question that you also want answered: don't skim/skip the rest of the thread.
And since you all fail to see the meaning behind the skill descriptions, I will explain it to you.
"Attack target foe and adjacent foes. Each attack that hits deals +10...34 damage."
This means: your target and then foes adjacent to you.
If it was as you all think, it would be worded as such: "Attack target foe and foes adjacent to your target. Blah blah."
It's tricky to understand at first, but you have to understand the sentence structure and how they have defined multiple subjects. Just look at other skill descriptions to understand the difference in wording.
Stupid English.

Ristaron you fail to see what we actially mean.
so i'll bold a quote below to give u an idea what were getting at.
"Attack target foe and adjacent foes. Each attack that hits deals +10...34 damage."
The first 3 words mean, just like any warrior skill, you walk up to your target and attack it, now if the foe steps back just a little bit the skill fails to hit, there is no indication of where u missed, obstructed etc.
"All adjacent foes are struck. Each attack that hits deals +10...34 damage."
Now i modified the description a little, not perfect but it certainly describes how the skill works, now if thats the case, which it is, its just another cyclone axe, so they may as well take out the 'walk up to target' part too.
