Out of point, but :

Now who says Mesmers are worse 55s than Monks?! (yes, the smites died, and yes, you can see SV and my maintains )

There's just no way in the world you could take on 15 smites without some kind of damage blocking/evasion, and especially as a mesmer primary, so Aegis+Guardian or something of the kind

Edit: Must be, otherwise there would be a lot more -3's

It's not guardian, they we're so afraid to cramp my high mesmer style they didn't hit

Killed the first 3 mindblades without a problem later, died versus the 6 because my SV got interrupted (duoing with SS nec for practice). Still testing stuff I guess...

I don't think that would matter, the damage spike would be too huge when it happens

theres only like 12 there, they would ALL have to hit at the exact same moment for u to die.

There are 15, and no, its not SoF... Jerrypants was running a fairly standard N/Mo build (only change = addition of watchful spirits to help with mindblades and terrorwebs).

Cerb is right anyway, 15 + SoF = instant slaughter, statistically speaking.

Ahem? Considering I'm the 55mesmer that we're discussing the capabilities of, I think I know what kills me and what doesn't.

I would not live versus 15 smites with SoF up. Without some sort of evade boost, I would not live versus six smites unhexed, let alone 15 for long enough to stand still, cast SV, have necro cast SS and SoF.

Considering were talking about what kills a 55 hp char, not neccessarily a Me/Mo i dont see how you have the final say, esp considering - by your own admission you didnt use SoF

You're completely irrelevant!

Cerb was talking about me in his comment that 15 smites were not survivable without an evasion effect (although thats true for everyone). He was examining the picture I posted, not 55s in general. So yes, it is a Me/Mo. And yes, there is no SoF.

And considering that I took that picture... I DO have the final say at what skill I used

I'm not talking about what skills you used, mhh nvm this is a pointless argument. W/D for having a viable Mesmer primary UW Farming build.

Great video Fenixxor. One question, on the very first set of mindblades, how did SB recharge so fast that you had it up the whole time? 20% recharge wand?

I can't download the video (server maintenance or something) But I'm pretty sure he'd use a flame spitter for this 20% enchanting, giving him a 10% chance to get a fast SB recharge. If you get a fast recharge with SB, it would be recharged just before it ends, giving you a 'constant' SB (forever, as long as you keep getting the fast recharge, which happens 10% of the time.)

Very nice job Fenixxor, looks like you got it down about twice as fast as sno and cerb. Very impressive indeed.

Even killed some mindblades :P

Actually, we haven't released our time, and thus no one knows how fast we did it. Don't jump to conclusions that have no basis.

Thanks, gunna try it again a some point, we were slow on the servents of grenth mission and it was egreg's first time on the unwanted guests quest so i'm pretty sure we can get 5+ minutes off that time.
