I forgot to mention:
Don't bring Firestorm, Breath of Fire or Tenai's Heat. If you want to use AoEs to ward your team, switch to Earth, where the AoEs are more effective for that purpose.

Thanks.
Fire attunement seems good energy storage for the moment. I'll just go and test my own builds and see how they work out.
Thanks

I'd always bring Immolate, Incendiary Bonds, and Fireball if I'm using Fire Magic. Incend Bonds > Fireball > Immolate is a nice combo. Phoenix and Inferno are good if you're going to have to be close to enemies and have some defense or healing.
Meteor Shower isn't always that great, either, because it screws up aggro and in certain places that can lead to your team getting wiped. You can echo Meteor if need be for a similar effect.

As I posted in another thread, my current build is:
Elemental Attunement (E)
Fire Attunement
Aura of Restoration
Resurrect
Rodgort's Invocation
Incendiary Bonds
Fireball
Immolate
The key point is that Fireball is the most energy-cost-effective spell in Fire Magic. And with dual Attunements, the net cost of Immolate is no more than the cost of Flare, so might as well run it instead.

Zorian... i'm sorry but that first build you posted is just awful. Admittadly i used something similar to go nuking in SF since those healers are just stupid but you knew your enemies where gonna be stood still like lemons or body blocked then. Taking Meteor Shower as your only damage dealing skill is a bad idea.
If your nuking you need Meteor Shower, Fireball and either Incendiary Bonds or Rodgorts Invocation (both is a bit of a waste). Otherwise your not really a nuker. Immolate i find very useful to pick off things that are on low health since it can't be avoided. As for screwing up agro... yeah it happens. But thats only usually against very fast enemies with high AL or Bonds on them (yes i'm thinking of Skeleton Berserkers). The majority of the time anything below the nuke zone dies. If not, the other members of your team should be able to mop it up surely?
Tbh i'm not a fan of Arcane Echo for Eles. Its good if you want to use your elite for something specific, but i prefer Glyph of Renewal. And Echo.... I'm REALLY not a fan of echo for use with eles.
Imo it has no purpose, the reason its elite is that it costs 10 energy less and can echo anything. Glyph of Renewal cannot be shattered and can be used to recharge anything with messing up for skillbar. Renewing Fire Attunement is often a good idea just incase it gets shatted, not sure if its really necessary though with the change to the Recharge time.

Well, the first one is less a build and more a suggestion. Actually, they're all set up like that. Personally, I think Meteor Shower nuking is an inferior passtime for any elementalist when compared to warding in PvE, but the OP seemed to want MS, so I posted some pro-MS set-ups. Moreover, the OP said:

?
So I assumed a desire to use arcane echo in an echo nuke build. I personally used suggestion #3 in Prophecies, and ditched that when I realized that other classes did more effective damage than me (so enter the warder. )
