I'd look for Mo/W builds with Balanced Stance and a -2/+45 when-enchanted shield. Smiting skills that trigger the AoE response (Zealot's Fire) could actually slow down the pressure, or maybe SOJ would suffice. Balthy's and Essence Bond, of course.
yah soj would be nice ... but i have canthan char ... bonetti cyclone balanced ... then all monk ... risky though .. nut i think i could afford not to have cyclone .. since balth gives adre for the bonetti ... anyone else got ideas?
I tried to farm the vermins with the 600 hp Spirit Bond build, and as far as i can see this is in no way going to work cuz the vermins do way too less damage (even in armor form Piken Square) and so do not trigger Spirit Bond
But i founf another way to farm them, just take Physical Resistance when ure Mesmer or Armor of Earth if ure Ele secondary, then the vermins will only hit for 4 - 8 damage each time. and u could spill the rest of ure skillbar for healing the conditions and doing damage. I never tried the boss cuz i wanted to move on with my monk to the kurzick area so i can farm there
i c.. thanks .. giving up on them too .. might just use my warrior to farm them for more cash .. maybe i'll try finfish the game with out dying instead of going for the legendary survivor title ... really concerned with the arborstone mission hehehe

Try to figure the right skill ingame.
if they dont hit for enough take either frenzy, or elemental resistance (no attributes) to increase damage taken
