Default KD/Degen build in the works

From the guys that brought you the QuickStrike build...

Alright, so in PvP and GvG for me of late, I run into a LOT of problems with other characters. Namely the fact that anything you do to someone is quickly removed/fixed/healed by monk. So how do we fix that? Stop the monk. Now, while this isn't a "monk hunter" build, the application is there.

Cascade
Assassin / *
PvE/PvP (untested in GvG atm)
Catagory: Degen/KD

Attributes
Dagger Mastery 7+1+3
Shadow Arts 9+1
Critical Strikse 10+2
Deadly Arts 10+1

Armor
Armor (70AL)
Bladed Mask (+1 dagger)
Vanguard's Guise (reduce blind)
Saboteur's Gloves (reduce bleed)
Shrounded Leggings (+2e)
Shrouded Shoes (+1e)

Weapon (current)
15% while enchanted <---- Ideally want +5 Energy
Lengthen Poison
+1 Dagger Mastery (20%) <---- Ideally want +30 HP

Skill Set
Expose Defenses
Iron Palm
Entangling Asp
Seeping Wound {E}
Black Lotus Strike
Twisting Fangs
Shadow Refuge
Resurrection Signet

Summary

Basic plan here... the major problem I'm running into when attacking someone is stances. Expose Defenses removes that problem.

Next, we don't want them casting anything detremental or really attacking you for the first part, so we hit them with a few KDs, after the Lead and Off-Hand attack your degen starts.

Seeping Wound goes next, as your poisoning started with Entangling Asp. This also is a safety hex incase a monk removed Expose Defenses.

At this point, currently with my 15% while enchanted (which isn't helping me!) I am exactly 5 energy short of continuing the combo. A +5 Dagger set would fix that.

Then you pop Black Lotus to get 17 Energy, hit Twisting Fangs (use Shadow Refuge if necissary) and run.

Spend a few moments choosing your next target, close in, and repeat usually the bar is recharged by then.

Notes & Concerns
Big thing here is there is no "teleport" skill. You NEED to keep and eye on where you are. Often enough the situation is so dynamic/chaotic in PvP/GvG that a planned teleport really doesn't help that much. So I sacraficed that here for the combo. As I said, watch where you are, watch your life. Don't tank.

Weakness
As with any melee-based build, blind, weakness, etc. are things you need to watch out for. Not the worst thing in the world, just a pain.

No teleport skills like I said, watch your aggro, watch your life.

No defense skills, watch out for a spike or quickstrike-styled assassin. It's a niche build, not a total build.

This is just something I'm kicking around. Not extremely solid on the attribute line up. Any and all hints, suggestions and criticism are greatly appreciated.

pretty good build with a solid idea. Im worried that the only KDs are in the beginning of the combo, leaving them time to heal/get healed before your spikeing strikes

I've been workin' on a build a bit like this. Don't know if it's been done before but here goes.

Critical Strikes: 13 (11+1+1)
Dagger Mastery: 11(10+1)
Shadow Arts: 4
Deadly Arts: 9

- Black Lotus Strike
- Twisting Fangs
- Falling Spider
- Moebius Strike [Elite]
- Horns of the Ox
- Impale
- Mark of Instability
- Expose Defenses

Surprisingly enough I've never had energy management problems... I cast Impale and then Mark of Instability. Run up close and then cast Expose (If it's a ranger. It's not needed most of the time.) Hit 'em with the Black Lotus and a Twisting Fang. The MoI will knock 'em down and I follow up with falling spider. Follow that up with a Horns of the Ox, then hit 'em with Moebius Strike. (Provided they're under fifty percent health) Your dagger skills will be recharged and you can finish 'em off with another Horns of the Ox and Falling Spider.

I've been running this build in Alliance Battles and so far I've been virtually unstoppable. Monks? Just try casting that Reversal of Fortune, buddy, it'll be the last thing you do.

Being blinded is a big issue with it, and when you're mobbed up, forget about it. Just run. It's not the perfect build. But it works for me.
