I just bought factions a few days days ago and decided I'm gonna be a N/ME
Right now I'm playing role playing and I'm a lvl14 still on the small island. I've checked N/ME builds but it seems I dont have any of the skills listed. I guess all the builds are writing up for experienced players or something. Currently Ihave these skills equiped.

I need some advice on what skills I should buy and where to buy them and in what order to put them in. I've tried searching but there is somuch info out there its overwhelming me.

Many of the builds are from Prophecies, some of the later ones includes skills from Factions.

I'm guessing that you only have Factions and do not currently possess Prophecies.

I have a N/Me but from the land of Tyria, not from Canthas (Factions).

But I'll try to help you the best I can.

Depending on what kind of character you want to play (ie: Minion Master, Health Degenerator, etc.) here are a few suggestions.

1) Don't spread your attribute points too far (you have skills listed that are for Curse, Death, and Blood Magic)
2) Concentrate on one attribute mainly until you have all 200 attribute points
3) Play with all of your spells and see which ones you use most and which ones look like they work well together.

Spiteful Spirit (elite) cannot be found in Factions (as far as I know), so you can subsitute that spell for Backfire or Empathy (Mesmer skills)

If you want to be a Minion Master (MM) then buy the following:

Animate Vampiric Horror
Signet of Capture (Capture Animate Flesh Golem (elite))
You should already have Blood of the Master, if not, then buy that too.
You also have Animate Bone Fiend
Buy Signet of Capture (Grenth's Balance (elite)) - this can be captured before Flesh Golem, its good for damaging your enemy and gaining health (just make sure that you use it only on enemies that have more health than you)

I can't remember if you can get Blood Renewal, if so, buy it.

Max: Death Magic & Soul Reaping, rest into Blood

Mesmer skills that interupt are also good. Again, depends on what you want to use your character for.

For Health Degenerator:

Life Siphon
Conjure Phantasm / Conjure Nightmare (very expensive)
Images of Remorse
Phantom Pain (if it exists)
Parasitic Bond (if it exists)

Max: Blood + Illusion, the rest into Soul Reaping (0 into curses)

You can buy skills from a guy that says "Skills" (just like guys that have "Merchant" by their name). You cannot buy Elites, you can only have 1 elite at at time.

Always bring a rez signet

As for placements, put the skills you plan to use most in order (most = 1, 2nd most = 2, etc.)

That way you won't accidentily start pressing the wrong keys.
