Default N/Mo or Mo/N mino farm build.

I modded BlindNympho's Necro/Monk farming build quite a bit, and I found it works great for mino farming. Just as soon as you get the feel for it.

N/Mo (Or Mo/N, it really doesn't matter)
No name.
PvE
55HP Farmer

Equips don't matter too much, since you'll never be hurt for more than 5 damage at a time. Just get a Ragged Scar Pattern and 5 superior Necro runes. You don't need to get a Curses rune, but it doesn't matter either way since you'll only be using blood, death, and soul reaping. You'll also need a -50 grim cesta. The quest for it can be found in Ascalon City, from Symon The Scribe (Might have spelled that wrong), it only takes about an hour to complete. As for a wand, I don't even use one, but you can use whatever you think will help. Enchanting wands are probably in your best interest.

N/Mo
Blood - 9 +3 +1 13
Death - 9 +3 12
Soul Reaping - 3 +3 6
Curses - 0 +3 3
Healing Prayers - 9
Smiting Prayers - 0
Protection Prayers - 9

Healing Breeze HB: +7
Dark Pact DP: 43dmg
Dark Aura DA: 41dmg
Touch Of Agony ToA: 53dmg
Mending Mend: +3 (Combined with the +7 breeze, that's a constant +10 regen =D)
Protective Spirit PS: 16sec
Balthazar's Spirit BS
Essence Bond EB

Mo/N
Healing Prayers - 5 +3 +1 9
Smiting Prayers - 0 +3 3
Protection Prayers - 7 +3 10
Divine Favor - 0 +3 3
Blood - 11
Death - 11
Curses - 0

Healing Breeze HB: +7
Dark Pact DP: 38dmg
Dark Aura DA: 38dmg
Touch Of Agony ToA: 48dmg
Mending Mend: +3 (Combined with the +7 breeze, that's a constant +10 regen =D)
Protective Spirit PS: 17sec
Balthazar's Spirit BS
Essence Bond EB

You can see the N/Mo does a little more damage, but the Mo/N has an extra second in PS and +10 heals due to Divine Favor.

Right when you get in-game in Elona Reach, cast Mend, BS, and EB right away. This'll leave you with about 14-16 energy (Unless you have a wand, unlike me), with an energy regen of 1. Talk to the priest, drop the vision crystal and MAKE SURE you select yourself so you don't accidently cast PS and/or HB on the priest. Run down the slope in front of you, careful to avoid the two Minotaurs on the hill to your left, run into the mob in the center, casting PS FIRST and then HB. Once you feel established, cast DA, then target a Mino and keep casting DP and ToA. All you really have to do is keep an eye on the HB and PS icons, making sure they don't run out, and keeping an eye on your health bar. Sometimes, if there's a lot of Minos on your ass they'll get enough hits in to kill you. In that case, run and let your HP recharge, it only takes a few seconds.

Once your mob is reduced to about 1, 2 or 3, you may run up to the hill and aggro the last 2. This whole process takes about 3 minutes to complete, and a few times to practice and perfect it.

Why is this superior to just using SoJ or Spiteful spirit as a normal 55er to take these guys down? Is it faster or safer?

It would be safer I'd bet, because the constant fleeing that Dark Aura would caouse would make monsters hit you less frewuently. If you were to time Dark Aura so that it didn't cause fleeing, the DPS would be inferior to a SoJ monk.

Spiteful Spirit is the way to go on a 55 that insists on using necro spells.

Same question here. Farming minotaurs is easy with common builds. SoJ keeps inflicted damage down because of knock-down. I'm not sure this is an improvement.
