Well, I had to try it out on my iNecro. It's actually a bit of a pain in the ass to get to Bramble. It turns out that occasionally the warden mob just before him will have a Warden of the Mind in it. If that's the case then either try to skirt them or rezone and try again. If you aggro that mob the warden will cast shatter enchants and you're basically done.
BTW: 2nd try and I got a pair of chakrams. Thanks for the motivation guys!

It's Warden of the Spirit I think, and they are why I prefer 55 monks because you can use SoJ as a cover enchant, and avoid being knocked down by "None Shall Pass" will get you safely through *most* of the time (with the exception of stepping on traps).
I think I'll be posting a detailed guide on how to get to and kill Everthorn with 55 monks later tonight.

If you're running 55 anything, you should have at least one cover enchant in the form of Healing Breeze (sometimes 2 with reversal). Just put up Prot spirit, then breeze, and then only breeze will get shattered. Keep in mind there is a loooong recharge on shatter, and since there's only 1 mesmer warden, he'll only be able to do it once. Then just put up breeze again and run through. As for None Shall Pass, it only knocks down if you are MOVING, so just stay still for a sec, let them use the skill, then run by and you're fine.

Would it be possible to 55 this as a rit? I've got my monk in tyria, and i want these weapons for my Assassin soon.
I've tried the following:
Vengeful was Khanai
Ancestor's Rage
Spirit Rift
Prot Spirit
Healing Breeze
Essence Bond
Balth's Spirit
Mending
The Warden of spirits can be a pain, but he's bypassable. The problem comes from the massive spike damage that Everthorn's mob throws at you.
Suggestions?

So is it possible with a warrior with dolyak's, live vicariously, and for sword warrior, hundred blades, with sun & Moon slash, and for axe, cyclone and Triple Chop?

Doubt it - Blurred Vision > warriors. Also the sheer magnitude of damage would be hard to outheal.
And Calypso, I appreciate that you showed us 55 is the way, but Orison and Reversal of Fortune have no place in a 55 build. Ever.

That should work just fine, but if youre being killed, simply spam prot spirit and heal breeze (as the dual + energy enchantments will easily cover it).

I beg to differ with you, In my experience when you dont have the monks divine favor attrib or the ele's aura of restoration, one of those skills can keep you alive.. Unless you know of something better.

I do, simply spamming Breeze and Prot Spirit usually works. If youre taking enough damage to need to do it, then you're going to gain enough energy from balths and essence to do it. Saves skill spots too.

Whenever you run a 55 necro and need divine favor there's a nice substitute called insidous parasite. Increases your kill time substantially, allows you to tank many enemies even with barbs on, and heals almost 1/2 of your life per attack for a 15 nrg cost and lasts 21 seconds.
Block rate from guardian also helps as well as vigourous spirit. Vig spirit heals for more then RoF does and it triggers as divine favor would with every action and this includes attacks. You can also use Vig spirit as your cover enchant to get past or kill the warden mesmers since it costs 5 nrg and lasts 30 seconds, RoF ONLY heals a non-monk primary 55 build for 5 hps , costs 5 energy, and is gone the next time you take damage.
I use my basic Solo FoW N/mo build to solo him and a large portion of the entire area.
I agree Orison of Healing and RoF are garbage skills on a non-monk primary 55 hp solo build. There are so many better alternatives per energy cost. It saddens me anytime I see someone using these 2 skills on their 55 necro.

I'm gonna have to agree with Kcp on this one! The man knows his stuff.

Haggard, I don't see why you're suddently criticizing me over my skill bar. If you or anyone else have better builds, more power to you. My version got the job done and showed people that farming these things is pretty easy actually even with a less than optimal skill bar.

I appreciate that but I'm just making the point that as Kcp said, its not the best of ideas.

1. Go out the transition and go right (West) immediately.
2. You should hit one group of Kirin/Dragon Moss/Undergrowth. Kill.
3. Proceed Northwest and watch two patrols of Kirin/Dragon Moss/Undergrowth/Gaki. Avoid.
4. Continue Northwest like you were going to Eternal Grove.
5. There will be a group of Kirin/Dragon Moss/Undergrowth that is mixed w/ a Warden group.
6. Let them seperate and kill the Kirin group.
7. Then either run through or kill the Warden group. Have a cover enchant up and watch for None Shall Pass.
8. Proceed South/Southwest and you should find Bramble. He is grouped with a Gaki/Kirin/Dragon Moss/Undergrowth mob. Kill.
9...
10. Profit!

MelechRic said it perfectly - but Bramby doesn't drop it very much, which is why its probably retained its value in spite of this thread.

Has anyone tried farming him with a trapper build? I'm testing it out right now to see if It is possible. I just can't be bothered to get my 55 that far in the game just to farm one guy.

I'll be trying it soon. I have to get 10k kurzick faction on my ranger so I can open up the lower Kurzick areas. (Aspenwood is slow faction because it's full of AFK idiots. However, I'm almost done.)
