so far i was thinking: unsuspecting strike --> Palm strike ---> twisting fang
(i know twisting fang is not really a spike... but the bleeding and deepwound would help to finish off faster)
I know there are of course much better options and I was wondering if anyone has created any good spiking build?

I believe Assassin's work best in pairs. Consider Fragility and Impale for spike damage.

have 1 assassin go almost pure deadly arts, with a few shadow arts hexes while the other is at criticals and dagger mastery, and you've bypassed the attribute limit on a kill
oooo what fun

Here's a build that can kill almost anyone if they are not healed, but it uses the Ranger profession for Expertise.
Anyways, here it is:
14 Expetise
12 Dagger
9 Beast M.
1)Leaping Mantis Sting
2)Fox Fangs
3)Horns of the Ox
4)Falling Spider
5)Twisted Fangs
6)Molbius Strike
7)Tigers Fury
The basic combo is 1-5. However if the enemy is still alive you hit 6 and then 3-5 again.

its weak to any interuption - blind - guardian - stances - anti-knockdown and allmost any kind of defensive skill in the game.

Assuming, your last slot is res sig, your character has 6 attack skills and 1 offensive stance. You do not have any self def/heal nor counters to def stance (eg. wildblow/strike) or condition (eg. plaque touch), thats what he meant to say I think.

HAHAHAHAH omg AHHAHA wow....sorry.....HAHAHA.....whew
I do need a good laugh like that EVERY morning!
I just love how you say every other assassin build is susceptible to blind, evades, etc.
Well lookey here:
Expose Defenses!! Wow!! WHAT A NOVEL IDEA. AN ENEMY THAT CANNOT BLOCK OR EVADE MY ATTACKS!
Way of the Fox!! woopee!! same thing as above!
Unseen Fury!! Just blind em or see if a teamate blinds em and for 45+ seconds they WILL NEVER block or evade your attacks!!
as for blind, thats up to your monk to remove....unless you've got sig of malice or your running a A/N and you should be able to send it back to them.
Seriously, think before you post

it seems like every guide require horns of ox and falling spider...
I tried the build you guys listed and they can work VERY WELL or get pwned fasts in different circumstances. espeically the fact when enemy run to their allies and i can't use horns of ox... or if horns miss, spider misses as well which means can't connect to twisting fang.
Is there any way to get around not using these knockdowns that are hard to connect?

Golden lotus strike, unsuspecting strike, or desperate strike
Fox Fangs
Twisting Fangs
Falling Spider
Blades of Steel
Feel free to add elites and stuff.

Well, if you don't mind sacrificing a lot of health for crazy damage:
11 Dagger Mastery +1+3
12 Deadly Arts +3
Rest to Critical Strikes +1(Maybe +2)
GPS
Horns of the Ox
Falling Spider
Twisting Fangs
Impale
Way of the Empty Palm
Siphon Speed/Expose Defenses/Crippling Dagger/Critical Defenses
Critical Eye/Expose Defenses/Critical Defenses
Here's something valuable that not a lot of people seem to have thought of, every single one of your dagger attacks are completely free with this build
Big problem with this crazy damage free energy build? Lower than normal health and no heal/evade, unless you take Critical Defenses (which would be somewhat un-reliable in it's duration.)
And the reason I have Crippling Dagger on there as a possibility is that it's a snare with 50 damage every 5 seconds before armor.

1)same
2)same
3)same
4)same
5)blades of steel
6)moebius
7)twisting fangs
8)tiger's fury

Hmm, let's look at these skills shall we?
Way of the Fox - Shadow Arts
5 Energy 1/4 Cast [b]45 Recharge[b]
Great, you can now spike your target once every 45 seconds. You will also have to put points into deadly arts with lowers your damage input a bit.
Unseen Fury - Shadow Arts
5 Energy 45 Recharge (Stance)
Basicaly the same as the last, but worse. First, you have to blind the target to take place. Use Blinding Powder skill? Well, it must already follow an off-hand attack, so if your target was already blocking attacks, your chain wouldn't even worked. Second, its a stance, and a spike would not be as effective without an IAS.
Expose Defenses - Deadly Arts
10 Energy 1 Cast 10 Recharge
Alright, this actually looked like a decent skill at first. However I noticed the Energy cost. 10 Energy is just too much for an assassin right before you do your chain. Jagged Strike -> Fox Fangs -> Twisted Fangs is 20 Energy right there. Add ED to it and it's 30. Add ED and you'll never be able to do a "big spike".
I don't even see why you'll need skills like this in the first place. The build posted before can kill the target before he uses Guardian and such. Warriors and Rangers can have stances, but it's not common. Usually you will want to kill the casters anyway.

Trust me...such build is non exsisted...
Even if it is there, it will be nerfed on the next skill balance update...you remember the old Me/N frag mes? That really is 1 hit KO, well...less than 5 seconds. Then came the assassin spike with AoD/golden phoenix/horn of the ox/falling spider/twisting fang, same goes for that! AoD went up to 20 sec recharge, and golden phoenix went up to 10 energy
The only spike haven't been nerfed yet is the thumper

Well with expose defenses at 10 energy maybe we will have to think of a combo other than GPS-Horns-Spider-Fangs. And you wont need points in deadly arts for Way of the Fox.
And i can tell rfom your reply to Unseen Fury that you havent actually used it before in a pvp battle and its still pretty crazy how no one thinks to use the assassin skills as compliments to those of other classes.
And im not even talking about having a teamate blind them right away, cuz that would be WAY TO HARD There are plenty of instant blinds to choose from in GW...just pick your favorite
