35HP monk
The other day I was looking for a 55monk to go to the UW with and this guy came to me and said he was a 35monk cause he acsended at lvl10 and now he was lvl 19 so I asked him to ping his health and it said 35 of 35. so my question is; is it better to have 35 hp or 55 and is there a way to not lvl up cause when he reaches 20 he's 55 so...?

I had my lvl 14 monk in ToA today spamming as I always do (elite solo monk lf pro spiteful necro,) and recieved 4 pm's calling me a noob. 4 in a row that wouldn't go down, even though I was paying for it. It was quite humorous really, as after 2 runs I was lvl 20.
people will never learn I suppose :P

as long as you have the prot spirit low hp build you can run the desert one yourself. The shiverpeaks one is easy enough with henchies. will take you awhile to do at low lvl tho.

hate to rain on your crazy parade, buddy, but anyone calling himself elite is immediately portrayed as a noob by most mature people.

If I'm not mistaken, a 35HP monk is possible at lvl 20.
There is an axe which was discontinued that gave -20hp. I think it was a presearing quest item.
MAN I would kill to have one of those. 35HP monk would be increadible. 100x better than a HoD sword, IMO.
Anyone have one of these or know of someone who does?

A few people on the forum have been looking for one for ages now. If one ever surfaced it'd go for an insane ammount on this forum I'm sure. I'd bid most if not all of my savings on it I'll tell ya that

And what would you have me spam instead? EVERYONE says they're experienced, so it's really pointless to even say that anymore. How else am I supposed to separate myself from the run-of-the-mill garbage monk? Anyone who's run UW with me knows that I'm not lying when I say it. Anyone who thinks that me saying so makes me a noob probably wouldn't be worth my time anyways.
My current spam generally consists of this:
"Elite solo monk lf -pro- Spiteful Necro (must be very fast and highly experienced, please do not waste my time.)"
If you can find a way to better draw out excellent partners, let me know. Until then I'll stick with my spam, which usually yeilds a decent partner (since the inexperienced ones are scared off by the 'don't waste my time' bit.)

i feel like an idiot now.
I've had Guild Wars for a long while now.
So one day i was out soloing the charr with my level 12 Mo/W.
This was my first character and i had never went to post searing cuz i enjoyed the beauty of pre. I was not registered on these forums either, so i was pretty much another clueless GW player.
Well i found this -20hp axe across that one bridge in the northlands (what help) and i thought " why would you ever want lower health?" so i sold it to merchant. :P
O how the times have changed.

Does that -20 HP axe still exist? I'm going to speculate that it doesn't.

theres a -20 hp divine symbol in pre-searing from a devona quest. I dunno if monks already use that to get to 55 hp because ive never made one. just wanted to give some input.

That focus is mostly used when you have died, and it gets you down to 13 hp.

Actually. 55 monk + Aura of the Lich = 28 health at level 20.
