The AoE size and damage is decent, and it's free, but as with most signets, the recharge time is killer and renders it only slightly useful.

I got this one recently. Nice Spell. Too bad we can't use more then one Elite though. It is hard to give up Word of Healing at this point. My smitting skills are at 11 so it works pretty darn good for me.

use the wand+foci combo to have a chance to ease the recharge time.

Mo/Me's can use the mesmer skill "Mantra of Signets" to allow instant recharge.

pretty weak elite if you asked me. ~70 damage with a 30 second cooldown is not very efficient

but isn't there a mesmer skill that mimics one of your own skills? If so you sould use both in succession, possibly have the mantra of signets and maybe get 3 casts out of it in short order?
Not sure how this would work out but man it sure sounds good.

Mantra of Signets and 3 or 4 people using SoJ is a nice cheap trick for altar maps. Kill a whole team in 4 seconds gg.

Talus Chute is south of Camp Rankor, the boss "Frostbite" is just outside, you cant miss him, might take a few goes to get him to spawn but hes there.

You're thinking of Arcane Echo, which only works on spells, and Echo{E}. Oh well. 2 is still better than 1.

arcane mimicry ftw acts as elite of other ally so if your in a group of soj'ers, cast it on eachother and you have 2 Soj's, then combine with mantra of signets and inscriptions and you have 3 uses + 15 sec recharge for siggy

Untrue, I've copied Incendiary Arrows, Practiced Stance, and 100 Blades with it fairly recently, playing with friends on the Isle of the Nameless.
Edit: Pictures, so that it's not just anecdotal. Arcane Mimicry on the Nameless Isles with Henchmen, along with Echo and Arcane Echo for fun.

Though they've slowly fixed a large number of skills over time, skill descriptions have been known to be inconsistent, inaccurate, to downright misleading at times.
