This is my idea for a different character.

I guess you can call it the Illusionary Stance Tank (PvE).

I haven't tried this yet... but I'm working on it. The idea is to cast Illusionary Weaponry and then Cyclone Axe for damage and adrenaline. Using stances to stay alive. By the way this is meant as a team build, not a solo build, so a monk is needed for this to work.

The question is.. will this work or not?

You don't gain adrenaline from hitting with IW, unless it was changed recently

oh well in that case... ignore the executioners strike and the bonetti's defense... either way, does the cyclone axe + illusionary weaponry work?

I think you'll still get the full spread of IW damage, yes.

4: deadly riposte
5: flurry
6: distracting blow
7: healing signet
8: phantom pain

i did not try it out yet but i liked the idea of fragility ^^

frag sucks unless you're spamming conditions.

the combo of iw and flurry is pretty standard. you'll want some type of energy management if you want to spam flurry and some type of cover enchantment to prevent iw from being shattered.
