My PvP smiting monk (Mo/W) gets nerfed. The burst damage on that thing was insaaaaaaane. Now no tactics skill spamming = crappy damage.

Now, I have invested too much money into armour, and I don't feel like starting the character over. So are there ANY viable PvP Mo/W builds left that do DAMAGE?

It's an RP Monk. I just PvP'd with it alot.

It got nerfed due to the elmo's Elementalists with Smiting Prayers and a powerful combo that made smiting much more insane.

Also you clearly mntioned good reasons for its nerf:

"The burst damage on that thing was insaaaaaaane." A bit too insane for Monks who ARE not primary damage dealers.

"No tactics skill spamming = crappy damage." I thought that was the idea TO use tactic rather then spam :P

Still, Mo/W smiters are now unuseable. They don't tank well, nor do they do acceptable damage.

I wouldnt be so entirely sure about that. I dont play Smiter so I cant tell. Youd have to find out in Guild Wars IF there is any reasonably good Smiting Build out there.

Just change your secondary if you don't want to be a Mo/W anymore. Problem solved.

Hold it right there... and the answer is no.

No one wants a Mo/W in PvP. In fact, smiting is pretty much gone from PvP other than some Balths Aura on warriors...

And lets face it, why waste a build slot with a character that is completely wasting his primary attribute (with the exception of necros...)?

I don't think people wanted smiting Mo/W's before the nerf, either.
You could try a Mo/E Glyph of Renewal + Divine Spirit + Draw/RoF, but good luck finding a smiting team nowadays.

Try this look at the smiting monk team you fight in the new Challenge thing look at what they use and try to improve it.
