Nothing extremely special about this though, just part of the game. Yet, it's always nice if someone completes it, it's always a achievement.

Hardest part isn't the mirror, it's find a group for Thirsty.

Nah, Thirsty groups are hard to get when you're not level 17 and above.

I have two guild members saying they were partied with a W/Mo that solo'd thirsty river. They just sat back and were told to just watch, dying wasn't an option for the two.

I was bored one day months after I ascended, and went back and beat my doppelganger with my 55 build on Monk a few times to see how fast I could do it. My best was 13 seconds. The doppel doesn't know how to skillfully use the build. He's just a sitting duck.
On another note, one of the funnier ways to kill the doppel with a monk is to go in as an Mo/N with only six skills - four random enchantments, aegis and rend enchantments. Pre-cast all four enchantments, cast Aegis so his attacks miss, and watch him kill himself with rend enchantments stripping you.

Now I wanna know how did he solo last group with priest + boss monk. He must either have EXTREMELY high damage to actually kill enemy priest while boss is healing him but then he wouldnt be able to heal himself and archers will screw him up alot or heal himself like crazy but then he would do no damage to enemy.
Unless that happened loooong time ago when monsters werent running away from aoe skills, then he just could spam smiting skills.
I still doubt it's possible to dish out enough damage to kill 2 healers alone while being able to heal yourself when 5-6 monsters are ganking you (not to mention those archers have throw dirt).

The funniest way to do it with a monk is take a Mo/N with four random enchantments, aegis, and rend enchantments. Pre-cast all four, cast Aegis, and let the nightmare rend himself to death.
I thought it was hillarious the first time I saw it.

Well if you have a Mo/N why not just use the necromancer method? Load your skillbar with sacrifices and watch his health drain

I'd guess Scourge Healing. Helps keep the boss busy, and since the priest can heal too, if you cast it on both, both of them would be pretty busy.

My record for killing Dopple is under 10 second... only bring Frenzy, Deadly Riposte, Riposte and Gash and watch his health degen and die.

here's what i did with my monk:
no runes needed
bring healing breeze, retribution, holy wrath
cast retrib. and holy wrath before battle
start battle with healing breeze
...just stand there
you will lose the same health, but the healing breeze at the start gave you more health and it just kills itself (i had 40 health left)
it was under 15 secs
easy as hell

Well, since I was level 7, I only had 220 hp. He pretty much killed me in 5-6 shots, and lack of attribs doesn't make it easier.
