Default is this alright weapon/shield combo for poor

I have recently started a W/R and want to know if these weapons are adequate for me being poor

Those are actually pretty decent
Same shield i use for farming
Put a nice mod on the axe though.

They look more than adequate, not bad for a recently started W/R.

Both items have bonus effects while you're enchanted. I don't believe a W/R has any enchantments of their own, so you will only get the items full benefits if you team up with players/henchies who will enchant you. You'll do fine with them, but you have have gotten more from them if you were, say, a W/Mo.

Good for starters. I personally like stance weapons better, but its personal choice, depending on your favorite build.

pretty good, if ur poor though, i would suggest buying a not-so-good mod for it, like maybe only +25 hp or something-- it's also really good if you can somehow get enchanted, because as someone else said, the effects only work on enchanted people, and W/R don't have any enchantments that i know of...

Yes a warrior monk would probably be more effective with those weapons, but they definitely are something to start on. next time you get upgrades of any sort just salvage and throw them on your axe. It would be a pretty tight axe then.
