Default 2-Man Green Titan (DNKP) Monk + Warrior Farming

It's my first build this year. Wow, I'm slacking. You will need a Monk / Mesmer and a Warrior / Monk to do this. 55 Monks can solo this area, but it's very slow going. A Warrior can kill the Titans much much faster, but needs a Monk for backup because of conditions.

Monk / Mesmer:

Mending
Restore Condition (you cannot substitute for this!)
Dwayna's Kiss
Orison of Healing
Healing Touch
Heal Other
Elemental Resistance
Rebirth

13 Healing (necessary for +4 Mending)
Divine Favor high enough to use your holy rod / staff (enemies are weak to fire, so you can help with killing)
As much as you can spare in Protection
The leftover points in Inspiration

Ideal Equipment: Holy Rod and Divine Symbol / Healing Ankh

Warrior / Monk:

Watchful Spirit
Balthazaar's Spirit
Dolyak Signet
Watch Yourself
Hundred Blades
Sever Artery
Gash
Rebirth

15 Strength (Necessary for 20-second Dolyak)
12 Swordsmanship
9 Tactics
leftover points in Smiting for increased Adrenaline gain from BZ's Spirit

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED Equipment: Wyvern Armor + Knight's Boots, Malinon's Shield or equivalent, Fiery *.* Sword of Defense.

The logic behind this setup is that a properly-equipped Warrior can easily withstand the elemental barrage of the Titans and also can kill them VERY quickly with bleeding and deep wound. The downside is the damnable Wind Titans constantly blinding and weakening you. But there is a cure, and the cure is Restore Condition.

One of your team will need the Defend North Kryta Province quest from Glint (the same enemies spawn in Defend Denravi also, but I really hate Maguuma, as do most people). Note that you can't go Ettin hunting while you have this quest, so you'll have to drop it if you wish to farm Ettins, and get it again when you want to farm Titans. I have yet to establish whether Titan farming is really profitable, but it is something new and very challenging. Also note that the Monk has to be very very vigilant in this setup. The Warrior's job is straightforward- KILL. The Monk has to constantly keep the Warrior clear of conditions and healed.

Do not come whining to me if you don't have the recommended equipment and get your ass kicked. Go ahead with your Gladiator's Armor and your Fortitude mod on your sword, and get beaten down. Armor is EVERYTHING. It's the same reason I could solo 20 Ice Imps at a time and you couldn't take on more than 5. Any serious farmer will have 2 sets of armor anyway, 1 for physical attacks and 1 for elemental.

Bring keys! Kryta keys are cheap, and the chests are upgraded in the Titan-infested zone. Max gold items are possible from these chests, and the Titans sometimes drop Gold armors too.

The typical group of green Titans consists of a Wind Titan, an Earth Titan, and a Water Titan. The earth and water Titans are pansies and very easy to kill. The only threat is the Wind Titans, because of the Blindness and weakness spams, and a pretty strong Chain Lightning spell. In any mob, they need to be eliminated first at all costs.

Monk Tactics: The Monk will only use Mending in certain circumstances, because he will need all 4 energy pips to be able to continuously spam Restore Condition and Dwayna's Kiss on the Warrior until the Wind Titans are dead. You will have to keep a close eye on the Warrior's health bar and cast RC as SOON as you see a negative condition. RC heals and restores at the same time, making it the ultimate perfect spell for this build (2 second recharge kicks total ass). Elemental Resistance you won't use unless the Warrior loses aggro. Then it'll buy you time to get away while the Warrior tries to regain aggro. If the aggro stays on you or the Warrior dies, then you will use Mending on yourself to try to stay alive. Dying isn't too big of a deal because the enemies are level 28 and DP goes away very quickly. But still, there's pride, right? You'll drop Mending once you're out of trouble, to get your 4 energy regen back. Dwayna's Kiss is very important here too, and you should be using this and RC primarily on the Warrior. DK heals extra for every enchantment (there will be 2 on the Warrior) and hex (the Wind and Earth Titans will hex the Warrior), so it can give some big healing bonuses. Healing Touch is for yourself and yourself only, to get a healing spike if you get some of the aggro and take damage. After the Wind Titan(s) are dead, use Orison and Dwayna's to heal the Warrior, since RC won't do any good.

Warrior Tactics: KILL THE WIND TITANS FIRST. It's pretty much that simple. Keep Dolyak and Watch Yourself up at all times, use Hundred Blades liberally, keep them bleeding and keep the deep wound on. Have faith in your Monk, but be sure to announce your conditions if he isn't keeping up. RC has a 2 second recharge; there's no reason you should ever be blind or weak any longer than that, unless you lose agggro and the Monk has to run. Once the Wind Titan is dead, you will be amazed just how quickly the water and earth titans die. You can literally solo earth and water Titans without healing, because your defense is so high. (85+40+20+16+5)

Rot Titans (or whatever they're called, I'm at work now): They cast Lingering Curses, which means the Warrior will lose his enchants. Once the enchants are gone, the Monk neds to put Mending on the Warrior, then the warrior needs to put Balthazaar's Spirit and Watchful Spirit on himself, in that order. The Rot Titan will cast some degen spells too, so the +6 regen will help a lot. These guys have horribly low armor, and go down pretty fast, once you get your enchants back up. Once he's dead, you have a few seconds for the Monk to drop Mending and clear andy conditions before the Wild Growth comes up.

Wild Growth: These guys are punks too. Their arrow attack is horribly weak, just laughable. If it weren't for the poison, you could just laugh them away. Just ignore the poison (it'll only be 2 degen with Watchful up), and keep whacking away. They will initially use Whirling Defense, so you'll miss most of the time. A good way to know when WD has run out is when 2 or 3 consecutive hits connect. Then you get it on with Hundred Blades, Sever, and Gash, and take him down quick. A trio of Titans pop up once the Growths are dead, so the Monk needs to be ready to start spamming RC and the Warrior needs to target the Wind Titan.

That's pretty much it. It's a challenging run, and fun to do if you have the time set aside. Feel free to post improvements (FIELD TESTED, not theoretical), and any good stories or drops you get. Good luck!

You really like that restore condition I see kvn For the effort it takes to cap it, it's good to know that you put it to some use!

Any good drops yet?

I never found this area to be profitable enough to be worth the trouble.

Anyways, no need to farm duo when you can do it easily with a 55 nec I just aggro groups of six, and move around until they're all packed up...then just start spreading the SS

You should still be able to do this and bring Word of Healing.

All negative conditions are transferred from target other ally to yourself. For each condition acquired, you gain 6...22 health.
Same cost, casts faster, and same recharge.

If you're dead set on Restore Conditions (perhaps because it heals the target), then I'd suggest trying this with a boon prot build instead.

You can have a pure Warrior do this or a w/me do this. though the blinding gets annoying. I still yet to try the 55 thingy with this but my necro hasn't beat the game yet.
