2 bad we cant use this build anymore, though i use a different build but i have to take group for group and there's something weird with the rockshots, they keep agroing but the griffons don't mino's either, they should fix that.

PS: i can kill everything with my build.. no matter how many come running towards me =) the only annoying thing is that there are a few griffons just standing around ^^

the build berko is using is the one I use to solo most areas you can solo in the game, but with watch yourself. I use it for
griffins(so far griffons, minotaurs and rockshots in a group of about 25 total caused no problem),
hydras(hard to do more than 4 at a time),
Trolls (20 without denting my health),
Crawl @whitmans(killed 30 warriors then left the necros there),
summit herders (can take down all but one cuz of the dolyak)
tundra giants arent any problem,
avicara warriors can be as long as there isnt a mesmer,
Pretty much anything that relies on melee combat only can be beat with straight warrior build people waste to much emphasis on their warriors with healing.
try using dolyak sig, watch yourself, galdiators defense, shield stance, bonettis defense, healing sig, riposte and deadly riposte with 16 tactics and 15 strength you really rarely have to heal as 75%+ of attacks are evaded and you are giving yourself a 62 armor boost so most enemies do 0-5 dmg when they do hit which is easy to heal through with sig.
for ettins I do usually change to w/r and for ice imps w/me
I have seen many w/mo go down fast with their healing spells while the pure warrior armor booster was still standing there taunting the enemies at the futillity of their attacks.

I'd have to agree, this build is better suited for Most framing around the desert like Hydras as well...
But, my current build is more focused on Minotars and Griffons...
Instead of using Tactics, my build is more focused on Strength:
09 Healing
05 Smite
12 Axe (10 + 1 helm + 1 rune)
11 Strength (10 + 1 rune)
Helm = Droks Executioner = 80+20Phys (+1 axe + 1 Minor Axe Rune)
Torso = Droks Glads = 80+20Phys (+3 energy)
Arms = Droks Glads = 80+20Phys (+1 energy)
Legs = Droks Glads = 80+20Phys (+2 energy)
Feet = Droks Knights = 80+10Phys (-2 Damage GLOBAL + 1 Major Absorbtion Rune (-2 dmg))
Max Damage Axe = +15%dmg when enchanted && +20%dmg (custom)
Max Defense Shield = 16def (Strength) && -1 or -2 dmg when enchanted
Please note, I do NOT have a Zeolous (+1 energy per hit) axe...just normal axe.
Cyclone Axe (5 energy)
Cleaver (Elite = 4 adrenalin)
Penetrating Blow (5 adremalin + 20% armor penetrate)
Dismember (Deep Wound)
Healing Breeze (+7 HP regen)
Vigorous Spirit (+9 HP per Cast or Swing)
Balthazar's Spirit (+1 Energy per hit recieved)
Mending (+3 HP regen)
If you have everything listed above...you can take on up to 6-8 Minotars or you can take on 6-8 Desert Griffons.
When I get in the heat of battle, I always have my 4 Enchantment spells on, yet still use Cyclone Axe and still have 20+ energy at all times. Here's the order of my skills usually:
Mending
Balthazar
Cyclone Axe
Cleaver
Penetrating
Vigorous Spirit
Dismember
Cyclone
Cleaver
...etc (add Healing Breeze when you need to)
If you do this...you can literally SPAM all of your 4 attack skills if you have a 3+ mob with limitless energy.
The only problem is when you face Rockshot Devouers. The Blind they cast on you and the Skill Interupt are really annoying. If you fight a BIG mob...PLEASE...make sure not Rockshots are around, of you won't be able to heal yourself...
Other than that, this build is cool. I can go WEST from Augury Rock, head South into Griffon area...then north where Portal is and kill those Minoars are all under 20 Mintues and sell just about everything (no salvage) and yield between 2-3k gold.
Enjoy...

Those are all some decent builds, but I'm seeing too much glad defense. lol I've never used it, and I farm griffons extremely well. I can take as many griffons as I can get aggro and keep aggro on, and the only times I've ever died were when I was distracted and trying to chat with friend's whilst fightin. :P
Here's the one I use:
Quote:
Griffon Farmer
Warrior/Monk
Level: 20
Strength: 2 (1+1)
Axe Mastery: 12 (9+3)
Tactics: 9 (7+2)
Healing Prayers: 10
Smiting Prayers: 10
Cyclone Axe (Axe Mastery)
Perform a spinning axe attack striking for +10 damage to all adjacent opponents.
Energy:5 Cast:0 Recharge:4
Healing Hands [Elite] (Healing Prayers)
For 10 seconds, Healing Hands heals target ally for 22 Health each time he suffers physical damage.
Energy:5 Cast:0.25 Recharge:25
Vigorous Spirit (Healing Prayers)
For 30 seconds, each time target ally attacks or casts a Spell, that ally is healed for 10 points.
Energy:5 Cast:1 Recharge:4
Bonetti's Defense (Tactics)
For 9 seconds, you have a 75% chance to "block" incoming melee attacks and arrows. You gain 5 Energy for each successful melee attack blocked. Bonetti's Defense ends if you use a skill.
Adrenaline:8
Zealot's Fire (Smiting Prayers)
For 60 seconds, whenever you use a skill that targets an ally, all foes adjacent to that target are struck for 25 fire damage.
Energy:10 Cast:1 Recharge:30
Strength of Honor (Smiting Prayers)
While you maintain this Enchantment, target ally deals 7 more damage in melee.
Energy:10 Cast:2 Recharge:0
Live Vicariously (Healing Prayers)
While you maintain this Enchantment, whenever target ally hits a foe, you gain 10 Health.
Energy:5 Cast:2 Recharge:0
Mending (Healing Prayers)
While you maintain this Enchantment, target ally gains +3 Health regeneration.
Energy:10 Cast:2 Recharge:0

glads rox..
you can kill a group of [what ever number] in just one minute! (at least i can do it..) with gladiators!
it one of the best elites in the game + it gives people that arent that rich (and do not have that good equip) a lot of damage and time to recharge.. (though i do not need that recharge xD
@dredogol: 6-8 griffons? u should really spend more time reading a thread before posting in it..
at first: this thread is about griffon farming and how to kill many many griffons in a very short time even with "low" equip..
secondly: there had been posted like 4 builds in this thread being able to kill 20++ griffons (like mine..)
so PLEASE next time.. before you post.. READ omg

Here my build...
Cyclone Axe
Sprint
Bonettis Defense
Glads defense
Balthazars Spirit (extra energy FTW)
Healing Breeze(I dont use mending...it seems to go slower than this and its no probelm if you have the next couple of skills)
Vigorous Spirit(use cyclone to get health in a big group)
Live Vicouarsly(use cyclone to get health in a big group IF you want more health i recomment Vigourus Spirit and Live Vicaously at the same time)
With this build i can farm all the griffons outside of Augury Rock at the same time if its a good spawn so they dont run away so what im saying is that this build can farm up to 10+ including featherfist and screaming claw.
P.S this build works well if your using HOD armour and its a pretty fast build....I reccommend a Vamperic Axe instead of a Zealous one

Since most of u guys hav the base elite glads. def..y not stick with tactics?
here is my build and it works quite well for me.
pull it apart if u want.
Deadly riptose.
heal sig
glads def{E}
riptose
bonnettis
endure
dolyak
sprint.
im normally an axe warrior..but u need to use any sword..dmg doesnt matter.
also i hav a sup tactics on my helm(ascalon).
so i get 16 tactics.
put the rest in strengh.
doing 63 dmg from riptose. and 53 dmg from deadly riptose. and i think, 37 dmg from glads. def.
riptose will be almost constantly charged, so just spam it.
use bonnettis when other skills r charging.
use sprint to run from rockshots or watever else u want.
use dolyak when glads def. runs out.
use endure if u really need to(unless ur really bad at this build..u wont need endure)
and som1 told me this was from another build..but idk..as far as i know, i made it up..just tell me if another person posted it somwere..not sure.
BTW: u can kill ANY melee enemie with this build. not just griffons, i just use it for em.
