i also use a W/Mo build, except i dont use many monk skills

i basically do

Cyclone Axe
Bonettis Defense
Disciplined Stane
Defensive Stance
Glad Def
Shield stance
mending
healing signet

13 - axe
14 - tactics
3 healing

any axe with dmg in stance and +5 armor, and any shield with dmg reduction and health in stance(preferred crimson caparace shield)

cast mending and start aggroeing the monsters, use glad defense, and keep cycloning until glad ends, use bonettis to recharge energy, then use shield stance, keep cycloning until it ends, use bonettis, use glad defense again, then cyclone, bonettis, disciplined stance, cyclone, defensive stance, bonettis, glad defense

rinse and repeat

Note: keep stances on at ALL times, you wont even take much dmg, u might get the occasional final thrust attacks of 50 dmg but when u lose some health just use healing signet, watch out for devourers though, also when using cyclone axe make sure u use a skill that doesn't end when u use a skill(i.e. bonettis and defensive stance)

I use this build simply b/c i can tank up to 4 groups + minotaurs patrols at once(even with some devourers), this way i wont get distracted by devoureres when i use healing/prot spells and i dont lose much health anyways, it also kills them really fast, except for the monk griffin grrr

The only Healing you need is Mending and Vig Spirit. Why Mending? Why not,it ensures my shield of choice has +45 health and -2 recieved damage and that my axe deals +15% more damage.I only wish that there where twice as many Griffs to kill outside Auguary cause its so freaking easy.

Weapons and Att points.I use the fiery battle axe of defense.Fiery mod seems to do more damage than the 3/1 vamp.Vamp kills Devours faster but not minos or griffs.Razorstone and stance shield work better in Sorrows or places where mending is pointless.

I have a build you should really try, but it's a challenge and uses no healing so you have to do it just right : )

Cyclone Axe
Apply poision
Serpents quickness
Glads defense
Bonetties defense
Dolyak sig
Watchyouself!
Sprint

Doing the W/mo way is easier and really awsome 'cause of the Screen filled with +x amount of health, dmg and Energy ^_^.

EXTREMELY nice Guide! good work.

Berko,

Your build as I have said before to others that use the same thing is a very nice build but just not as fast. I have raced more than one build like yours and more than one 55 monk. I also have a 55 monk and no they do not own this run in the fastest time. I have used almost every build on these boards and almost every one is a little to a lot slower than what we are talking about here.

The fastsest way...just to go over it again...

Heal Sig (replaceable as I never use it)
Cyclone Axe
*open
*open
Bons Def
Glads Def
Live Vic
Mending

You do not need Balths for energy or add mgmt. You will get plenty of addreniline from Cyclone and more than enough energy from Bons Def. If you make sure you meet your axe req then it is like having Zealots Fire on all the time just spamming heals....the damage is non stop when you follow the cycle outlined above.....

Glads Def (area damage)
Cyclone (healing, addrenline, and area damage)
Cyclone
Cyclone
Bons Def (max energy)
Cyclone
Bons Def

Glads Def

Seen many W/Mo Griffon Farming builds..
Pretty interesting

Here's mine. Similar to those that others have posted.

Gladiator's D
Bonetti's D
Cyclone Axe
Mending
Live Vicarously
Zealot's Fire
Symbol of Wrath
Healing Breeze (<--Not sure, haven't farmed Griffons in awhile)

Works well for me.

I can take on 10+. Message me in game if you want me to show you.
It's quite easy.

Me NoFat, to tell you the truth I haven't tried your build so I can't tell you if it's faster or not so I'm just going to have to trust you. The build I have posted I believe is a fast build and should work fine for everyone who doesn't like Mo secondary like me. Call me crazy but that's just my stand on it.

Like I said before, SOJ does more damage and knocks down opponents. The longer an opponent sits on the ground, the more heal you get from healing breeze or mending or both. Here is my general build.

Cyclone Axe
Bonetti's Defense
Healing Breeze
Shield of Judgement
Dolyak Signet
Vigirous Spirit
Live Vicariously
Mending

For those that have yet to try SOJ, it's definetely worth getting. It does a max of 53 damage and lasts a max of 22 seconds. Now in this case, my smiting is not maxed, I only do that when using my 55 monk. SOJ can be capped from Myd Springclaw in Mineral Springs and is definetely worth the trouble of going and getting it. There always a SOJ capping party gathering in Granite Citadel. Here is a pic of my atts, skill bar, and weapons.

A video is soon to follow.

Here's a link to the video for those that care to see it. But be warned it weighs in at around 70 megs. Most should be able to get it quickly, as my hosting is unlimited bandwith and usually clocks around 500k steady. :P

This build is of very little use now, but way back when (Nov 9th), Griffin farming used to be fun, very quick and very lucrative. The whole run only took a few minutes and all the mobs would keep agro.

Nice Build, but i would stick to the one shown in my post personaly. the build I currently use can still ago 24+ enemies (you have to know where to stand) as i have shown in the pic and this was taken recently. The most important thing about a build is reliability and speed. Also note i only need 350hp

http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...d.php?t=107820

Anyway good job

Ive managed to aggro 16+ on a perfect spawn and survive. I use this build( staying alive rather than more damage):
8 healing
9 axe
16 tactics (rest in strength)

cyclone axe
penetrating blow
bonnetis
gladiators defence
vigorous spirit
live vicariously
mending
whatever. havent needed this slot ever.
