Closed for several reasons, foremost that this thread's nebulous focus has opened it up to a number of overly critical posts.

most I found this Deadly Cesta on a tombs run in a chest last week and I told a few friends. Well news of my find got around. Today I was offered 400K for it, last night 50 ectos and this morning, 150K. Im telling you this is the fastest ive ever been able to raise minions. when i go on runs, i bring horror, fiends AND Minions. I went outside droks and grabbed the compliment to what I think is the perfect combo thanks to a friend pointing it out. Im told its a rare find and after making a few runs, you know why. I have 16 Death, and using bloodstained boots which are suppose to give me 25% on top of this rate and the rest of my armor is from grotto. (im working on getting fissure).

i cant tell if the boots make that much of a difference. when i changed them it actually seemed slower. hard to tell though. will have to try with different set.

and yes, its much better than Morgriffs because I used one in comparison. At times it seems I merely point and up comes a minion.

its a nice wand but there is a screen shot section for this as well as a sell thread if u want a REAL PC on the item.... its nice... but not close to the range of 400k

the collecters wand isn't 20/20.... it only has 20% recharge

I assume the speed at which you pump these minions out is the awesome part you are talking about which would stem from the 20% faster casting rate on the offhand and the 17% on thewand. Since you are talking about bringing all three minion spell, making the recharge time faster would not be an issue.
With this in mind the bortak set:

Bortak's Bone Claw
Cold damage: 11-22 (req. 9 Death Magic)
Energy +3 (while Health is above 50%)
Improves Casting speed using Death Magic skills (Chance 20%)

Bortak's Bone Cesta
Energy +12 (req. 9 Death Magic)
Death Magic +1 (20% chance while using skills)
Improves Casting speed using Death Magic skills (Chance 20%)

This setup would give you the faster cast rate more often than your current setup and would also give you the level 19 minions occasionally.

AGREED^ for MM bortaks is much better than ur current setup... its nice but far from the best... even a gold death wand with energy +5^50% and a recharge or fast casting mod would be better

But in fact, the mods are 60% and 70% better (for death skills) than the scepter, meaning (considering the cesta alone) the fast casting and recharge would trigger 60% and 70% more often (then they would on the scepter).

Also, in regards to Bortak's equipment, I think it's all a matter of preference. The Bortak setup has only 36% chance to trigger some form of fast casting. (it is not 40% for the record)

This guy's setup has 33% chance to trigger fast casting.

Conclusion: The Bortak's setup would only trigger fast casting 9% more often.

(If you don't believe me, I can explain it mathematically, but please don't ask unless you understand some basic probability and algebra)
