What kind of warrior?
Hey, I'm a new member and I am also new at this game. I have Guild Wars (Not factions) and I was wondering which mastery I should go into. What are the most dmg dealing weapons for each type? Which is most common? And I was also wondering what 15k and 1.5k mean. Is it the gold amount it is worth?
Which should I do? Axe? Hammer? Sword? and where do I put my skill points?

Which mastery you go into is really up to you. Axe is a very common choice. Max damage on a sword is 15-22, axe is 6-28, hammer is 19-35. They all come with different damage mods such as damage +15% while enchanted, while health is above 50%, vs. hexed foes, while in stance, etc. Axe and Sword are most common, dont see much hammer except in pvp. 15k and 1.5k are used to describe types of armor. 1.5k armor can be found in Droknars Forge and costs 1,500g per piece along with materials, and 15k armor costs 15,000g per piece and can be found in The Granite Citadel and Marhan's Grotto.

Hammer should do most damage, but is slower to start damaging.
Axe is somewhat faster, and sword is almost immediate damage ( roughly put )
Why don't you try it out? It can never hurt.
15K is the armour for the farmers with too much cash 1.5K is the poor version. They have the same stats, just other looks...
Yes it's the gold amount.
Thus remember, all weapons should be equal, but with a hammer, you cannot taka a shield, wich may be nice in PvE..

And Also, unlike Diablo II, money is worth a lot in this game. Can you buy everything by a merchant, or do some things just drop?

mods only drop.
weapons can be crafted/exchanged but only with a specific skin.
armor never drop (well not the ones you're wearing).
some other items never drop, such as ale
