Just wondering because there seem to be a few buffing spells that can add damage to melee.

Wailing Weapon - Weapon Spell
For 5-10 seconds, target ally has a Wailing Weapon. Whenever the Wailing Weapon strikes an attacking foe, that foe is interrupted.

Splinter Weapon - Weapon Spell
For 15-51 seconds, target ally has a Splinter Weapon. Target ally's next successful attack deals 5-41 damage to all adjacent foes.

Vengeful Weapon - Weapon Spell
For 8 seconds, the next time target ally takes damage from a foe, that ally steals up to 15-51 Health from that foe.

Tis fairly Cool... you could farm certain areas with it and it would be good for a tank also... with

Still I cant settle on it, Buffs are good though, they are your friend...

Just do it and enjoy, the weapon spells are cool.

I made a w/rit build that is very cool. I use it to solo farm all over Factions, and I modify it very slightly when I am tanking in groups. Works extremely well in The Deep too...

Solo farming:

Sever Artery
Gash
Deadly Riposte
Sprint
Resilient Weapon
Vengeful was Khanhei
Bonnettis Defense
Generous was Tsongai(sp)

Tanking in The Deep:

Leviathans Sweep (knocks down when evaded...GG Kanaxai)
Deadly Riposte
Dolyak Signet
Resilient Weapon (help the monks out...cast this on yourself and party members with conditions or hexes)
Vengeful was Khanhei
Bonnettis Defense
Generous was Tsongai(sp)
Flesh of My Flesh

Tanking in other places:

Sever Artery
Gash
Sun and Moon Slash (or any attack skill)
Deadly Riposte
Resilient Weapon
Vengeful was Khanhei
Bonnettis Defense
Flesh of My Flesh

Remember, this is a tanking build with plenty of reactive damage. Try it out, works great for me.

One problem with the weapon skills is that they can get replaced by another. So bringing the henchie rit is out and you have to make sure any rit players know you are doing your own weapon spells and not to use theirs on you.

How about coordinating with a rit buddy instead - he provides the spirits (especially destruction), and you draw them and use rupture soul.

You could even bring war endurance or ViM if you think energy is going to be a problem.

Just like when you got 2 mm necros, one could do the raising and the other could do the death novas and tasting.
