A/w Critical Mastery + video
Profession: Assassin/warrior
Name: Critical Mastery
Type: PvP/PvE
Category: Enduring assassin / Medium damage dealer
Attributes:
Dagger mastery (8+1) minor rune
Shadow arts (9+1) minor rune
Critical strikes (12+2+1) major rune / mask
Equipment: Any daggers, only enchantments 17% or higher are needed.
Skills:
Shadow refuge
Palm strike
Critical strike
Wild blow
Critical defense
Sharpen daggers / Critical Eye
Way of perfection
Signet of malice / Resurection signet / Twisting fangs
Summary: First you make sure u have all enchantments on you accept Critical Defense. Find a target and activate Critical Defences once in attack range. After that use Wild Blow (result is a critical hit), then Palm Strike and Critical Strike or Twisting Fangs. If this didn't kill your target use Wild Blow again and repeat the combo. Signet of malice secures your life if you have condition.
Notes & Concerns: Necro/mesmer spell spammers are a bit too much for this build.

The music is horrible and not my best videos. You can still see I own too weak warriors and one a little harder. I hope this make you try this build.
======edit======
You can tank Vermins with this build. Vermin 3-4 group at one time. Use Heart of the Shadow instead of Twisting Fangs. Jade Broterhood Knights are 3x easier than vermins. Faster solo :P

Yeah, for everyone not wanting to dl this video, the basic prinicple is keeping critical defenses up at all times by using Critical Strike and Wild Blow. The buff on Palm Strike lets you use it again faster, helping your CD stay up.
Susceptible to enchant removal due to the fact that CD is now your top enchantment, as you have cast it last.
BUt this is pretty much the basic idea around solo-green farming assassins

For PvE, I'd recommend going all the way to 16 critical strikes. This raises your CD's block percentage from 75% to 78%, or close to 4/5 block chance vs. 3/4. It also lets you hit 90-dmg palm strikes.
I typically run 11 dagger, 9 Shadow, and 16 critical strikes to maximize damage output.

I tryed solo Xuekao boss with this build. And it was very hard. He hit like a hell. Just nice ~170 dmg with unsuspecting strike. I still killed it some how. Slowly but secure.

This type of build is also susceptible to blind... If you cant hit wild blow/crit strk you can't keep Crit Def up.... throw dirt/Blinding flash is its worst enemy... (T.T) Nice build though, I use something similar:
A/W
13 daggs
9 shadow
14 crit
jagged strk
fox fangs
horns of the ox
falling spider
wild blow
crit def
crit eye
shadow ref
-bleed from jagged and poison from falling spider as well as a knockdown here and there... wild blow/crit eye on every recharge to keep crit def up, and shadow ref every once in a while... IMO its a good build for farming jade/am fah in pong mei, (knights/assassins are very easy to beat, but mages/mesmers/rits/rangers are a little bit harder though still doable) and Xukeao is a piece of cake with this build.... ;p

Well, this build may work fine in PvE, but it doesn't really work at all in PvP. And although this video was shown in PvP, I hope it's not meant for that. In total you killed 1 Warrior, and that's because he was too stupid to run away. If he had done that there would be no way for you to kill him.
Anyway, great build for PvE, doesn't work in PvP.

i think he meant to use signet of malice for an anti blind if needed to bad u cant just use plague touch.. sux that they dont have something like wild blow for assasins(i know there is a wild strike)
but he used twisting fangs... and he has no conditions skills soo signet doesnt work plus instead of sharpen critical eye so ur rite he cant get rid of blind i guess just have a draw condition monk i guess...

I know.. Thats why u would be smart and use wild strike + critical defense combo in PvP and higher damage output skills/spells with the combo. Every time you use wild blow u will gain 7 seconds for combo moves (17% or higher enchantment item is requirement).

salamanteri congrats on your build, and good job on taking the obvious flame from CHUIU and being positive.
A note to you CHUIU we here at the assassin forums are a very friendly and almost family like community, do not come in her flaming, I and aI do believe WE, DON'T appreciate it.
