I bring teleports all the time in PvE and still own anything I want to. You don't spend the entire time teleporting, but the hit-and-run is more accurately described as "kill-and-run". The only hole in damage that's left from teleporting is just from default dagger attacks, since you should be using your combo on something if your attacks are ready.

for those who don't know sins don't "teleport around" they teleport in..and out, after killing the guy, sin isn't really for DPS its more for spiking, sins aren't meant to be used for pressure. Sins can actually be the next IWAY they can easily roll anyone who isn't well prepared for them.

Who are you to say lead attacks arent useable? Last time I checked you dont decide what can be used and what cannot be used. If you cant get around not using a lead attack and want to quickly start into a combo a lead attack is needed, lead attacks are not all crap, you can *gasp* actualy use them to your advantage. To me, Jagged Strike is used as a quick recharghing skill used to get to your dual attacks quicker.

I like GLS for the fact that the next attack is umm free. At max DM GLS gives you 10 energy for its original cost of 5.

And you can go ahead and suck it, Oranos. lol. I stand by what I said earlier. The Lead Attacks in the game are sub-par, or at best, forgettable.

Jagged Strike? Please. Yes, it costs 5E and recharges in 4 seconds. Other than that, it's complete trash. It does minimal damage and inflicts a condition that'll be removed pretty quickly. And the degen from a regular Bleed is less than impressive...it's 4 degen I believe. That's 8 HP/second. For it to be threatening, that target would have to be degen-ing for upwards of 9 seconds. If you, an Assassin, need 9 seconds or more to kill the target--because why else would you be trying to bleed them--then you should not be playing an Assassin.

Disrupting Stab? Probably the only worthwhile Lead so far, but its skill disable only hits 10 seconds in the 15 Dagger Mastery range. But still, Disrupting Stab is too unspectacular to lead off a combo with. If anything, it will be saved after the final Dual Attack of the chain, in case the target tries to heal.

Unsuspecting Strike? It's a conditional 90 damage that you can be guaranteed to get from Palm Strike, and Palm Strike is a touch skill that counts as an off-hand. Advantage? Bypassing the Lead.

Desperate Strike? Sorry, but this skill really is pretty useless.

Golden Lotus Strike? Who cares?

Leaping Mantis Sting? Probably one of the best Leads in the game...and that's not saying much.

The only Lead I can see being remotely useful is Black Mantis Thrust for the Cripple leading into a Jungle Strike build. But that begs the question of "why?" There are more effective snares in Assassin than blowing 10E just so you can get bonus damage on an Off-hand.

You still want to say Lead Attacks are useful? Try it. What I was saying earlier is obvious to anyone who's examined Assassin skill sets and evaluated how particular skills synergize with each other.

The fact that you're trying to pass-off Jagged Strike as a way to get to Dual Attacks faster when there are better Off-Hand+Enchant or Off-Hand+Hex combinations being used already that are a hell of a lot more effective in providing Dual Attack accessibility...raises major doubts in my mind that you know anything of what you're getting in my face about.

And Kijik, in my builds, my entire combo becomes free because of Black Lotus Strike and me being able to bypass the Lead attack. lol

Locking this thread because it's beyond repair. Just because a mod doesn't notice it doesn't mean you can post all kinds of crap, flame people for all you're worth, and tell them to go away, repeatedly. I suggest a lot of you think twice before posting this kind of stuff again.
