Divine Favor Build?
I have all the monk skills up to date (elites included) and I am getting bored of my boon heal build. It heals 200+ for 7eng constantly, and I cant complain. Now, before I go on, some readers may ask, why not boon prot? I accept and agree with the fact that boon prot is a great build with its strengths, but I find boon prot cant dish out the healing capabilities that direct healing does, and I perfer more powerful healing.
Now, back to Divine Favor. I was looking at the skills and was wondering if any1 was capable of putting together some skills (divine favor heavy) that could possibly equal a good boon heal but would add some flavor to the monking game.
*Note, this is for all gvg, RA, TA, AB, Pvp and Pve aspects*
Thanks
PS, a list of all the current pvp builds, and links to them would be appreciated as well?

Since you have all of the monk skills (Tyria and Canthas), try this:
Mo/R:
Divine Healing
Heaven's Delight
Quickness of the Serpent
Watchful Spirit
Blessed Signet
Divine Boon
Blessed Light (e)
Rebirth
Basic idea is Divine Healing and Heaven's Delight are your massive party heals. With the long recharge time, Quickness of the Serpent will cut it down by 1/3. So instead of 30 seconds you just wait 20 seconds for each. Watchful Spirit is akin to Mending but with a sweet side effect. Divine Boon gives you bonus heals and Blessed Light is your hex and condition remover.
Rebirth, is your normal staple.
Blessed Signet is your energy recouperation.
This is about as heavy DF as I can think of.
Hope this helps.

I think Pick has about the best possible offering. It's just that divine favor spells are horridly long recharges to even be worth anything but maybe some PVE last ditch buffs (like divine intervention). Even so, boon heal or boon prot builds are best for many reasons beyond being bored with them.
Try a ritualist if your bored with monk heals.

I run this build too but I use all protection magic. In Aspenwood, you can hold a gate against 3 non-mesmer pcs and a turtle indefinetly. Its very satisfying and a lot of fun.
It works best with shield guardian and RoF for healing. Throw in blessed aura for super long prot spirits and other enchants, the cheaper the better, like shielding hands.
Even when renewal does get interupted, if you have conserved your mana correctly, it doesnt necessarily mean the end.

Monk/[N/A]
Divine Favor: 15 (11+4)
Healing Prayers: 13 (11+2)
Protection Prayers: 9 (8+1)
Signet of Devotion (Divine Favor)
Heal target ally for 100 points.
Energy:0 Cast:2 Recharge:5
Dwayna's Kiss (Healing Prayers)
Heal target other ally for 54 points and an additional 32 points for each Enchantment or Hex on that ally.
Energy:5 Cast:1 Recharge:3
Healing Touch (Healing Prayers)
Heal target touched ally for 54 points. Health gain from Divine Favor is doubled for this Spell.
Energy:5 Cast:0.75 Recharge:5
Vigorous Spirit (Healing Prayers)
For 30 seconds, each time target ally attacks or casts a Spell, that ally is healed for 18 points.
Energy:5 Cast:1 Recharge:4
Aura of Faith [Elite] (Divine Favor)
For 60 seconds, target ally gains 50% more Health when healed.
Energy:10 Cast:1 Recharge:15
Heal Party (Healing Prayers)
Heal entire party for 71 points.
Energy:15 Cast:2 Recharge:2
Mend Ailment (Protection Prayers)
Remove one Condition (Poison, Disease, Blindness, Dazed, Bleeding, Crippled, or Deep Wound) from target ally. That ally is healed for 44 points for each remaining Condition.
Energy:5 Cast:0.75 Recharge:5
Protective Spirit (Protection Prayers)
For 16 seconds, target ally cannot lose more than 10% max Health due to damage from a single attack or Spell.
Energy:10 Cast:0.25 Recharge:5
Stick vigorus and aura of faith on your party members (AoF's recharge is reletively short - it lasts 60 sec and only has 15 sec recharge, assuming you don't have weapon/focus that will reduce recharge time) With that, your party members will heal themselves for 27 for pretty much anything they do, and Kiss alone, for 5 energy, will heal for 250+ with those two enchantments on them alone. Each additional enchantment or hex on them will increase the healing by 48 - so it's pretty easy to get it to heal for 500+.
Sig heals for a cool 150 for free. Healing touch is mostly for yourself, to go along with sticking AoF on yourself - as is Protective Spirit. Don't need to use on other party members save for the right situations. The moderate casting time of kiss isn't too much of a problem considering you can heal pretty much anyone to near full health from near death in one 5 energy use of it. Best of all, you will have full energy regen too.
Played properly, by throwing in Sigs of Devotion, you'll only really need to just keep up Vigorous and Aura of Faith, with an occational Kiss thrown in - and your energy will balance out perfectly - I almost never run out of energy with this build, with a max energy of 49. It also usually takes 4+ people all focusing on me to take me down, so you're good in that respect too.
