1.5k Kuzick Armour dyed white?
Just a quick question, I love the style of this particualar monk armour however, I'm wondering if anyone has had any success on getting it to look white. If so, what dye combo do you use and could you post a screenie up
I have mine in red much like everyone else it would seem but I reckon it would look sexy in white, like a karate outfit type thing
Thanks in advance.

doesnt dye remover (when mixed with something else) act as white?
if so then why not try taking a silver dye and adding a bunch of dye removers to it, maybe it'll light up enough to appear white?

No the White Dyehas a special combinatiopn to it.. its Silver+ Silver+ Silver + yellow or orange now that makes the white dye but it depends on the armor on how the color contrast comes out

I'm not an expert on this...but...doesn't 3 silver mixed together make 1 silver?...and then you add it to yellow and it comes out as 1 silver + 1 yellow. Whereas if you mixed yellow with three silvers, it'll get progressively lighter.

3 silver alone does infact make the same color as 1 silver, but when mixed with another color in most cases (at least those I have seen) adding more silver lightens the color slightly.

the kruzick monk armors don't dye a pure white, the closest you'll get as previously stated is Yellow + Silver + Silver + Silver... and thats not great looking. I prefer the 15k Canthan dyed Sage Green!

Thanks for the piccies project, gives me an idea of what the final product would be.
I'm semi tempted I must admit to give it a try, spendyish but I could just dye it red again :P At least it would go nicely with my monks nice white pony tail and my guilds white cape

It seems to be rather accurate.
Kisses and kudos to whomever figured all this out.

The problem with that dye chart is that it shows the dye bottle colour, which doesn't take into account variants in base colour.
As shown by the screenshot, the best you can get is beige. But, it also looks incredible in plain silver. Yes, it's light grey. It still looks good. In fact, I'd say light grey looks better than white would on this armour.

Well there was my attempt at getting it whiteish and as previously mentioned it's more like off gray. It does look nice though and I decided to make the boots brown to match the trim. Might have to make it a little bit darker though.

Although my armor is 15k and not 1.5k, I'm pretty sure that both sets use the same types of materials.
The combo I used was silver/remover/silverx2.
I also tried it with yellow, but it didn't fare too much better.

The proper way to make white dye for most armor is YSSS (or SYSS) not SSSY... where you add the first to the second, second to third, third to fourth in that order.
