Ok. here's the deal, I don't normally ask for help, don't know it makes me feel all weird inside for bothering other people.
Anyways, could anyone post a good ranger running build, dosen't matter the secondary, dosen't matter the skill... I got everything... I just need one since i really don't like playing warrior.
Any help would be appreciated. thx

Running with a ranger is easy, probably easier than with a warrior. You really only need 4 skills to do most runs with a ranger.
Escape
Dodge
Storm Chaser
Troll Urgent
Another evasion stance such as dryders defense is good to have. That way if u need to heal with troll and your are around a group of enemies you can evade most of the attacks and still survive.
With those 3 running skills you should be able to keep one of them up at all times if your stats are high enough.
Good Luck

Becareful about knockdowns though as I do not know of any Ranger stances that prevent knockdown.

but if you take Warrior as your secondary, you can have Balanced Stance as well.

W as second is good for preventing Knockdown, but mesmer is good. Sometimes enemys won't get of your back, just use "Imagined Burden" cause you don't need much illusion to make it last long.
Here are my skills:
1 escape
2 stormchaser
3 dodge
4 whirling
5 dryder's
6 Imagined Burden
7 Troll unguent
8 Doesn't matter, but you can take lightning reflexes

Yeah that would be pretty nice but i actually though about something with a warrior secondary. Something that could make you run real long. maybe like
1. Dodge
2. Escape (E)
3. Storm chaser
4. Sprint
5. Balanced stance
6. lightning reflexes
7. Troll unguent
8. Whirling Defense
Att:
Expertise = 12+3+1
Wilderness survival = 12+1
rest in Tactics
Basically you could run an infinite amout at improved speed but i don't know that much about running someone tell me about this, sounds good on paper.

Problem is that on narsty runs like Droknar's, you need to have both Balanced Stance and a speed booster up. Currently the only way to do that, that I know of, is the Warrior's "Charge!" [E] shout. That's the real reason Warriors are the king of the race, is that they can stack those two vital ingredients.
Now if I remember right, "Charge!" is a tactics skill, which means Ranger primaries could boost it as well, and I know Balanced Stance is tactics. Taking those two and things like Whirling Defense and Storm Chaser would be great. Too bad we don't get Oath Shot too. That would rock. In fact, it may rock more than "Charge!' does.
Realizing that I have zip-all experience with doing runs and very little with being run and really shouldn't be posting in here at all :-P, I think a good prototype Ranger runner would look something like this.
"Mr. Happystance"
Expertise 10 (14 w/ mask + Superior)
Tactics 12
Wilderness Survival 8 (9 w/Minor)
Oath Shot [E]
Dodge
Storm Chaser
Balanced Stance
Whirling Defense
Dryder's Defenses
Healing Signet
Troll Unguent
More Stances than you can shake a stick at - two speed boosters, two evasions, and the all-important Balanced. You have both bulk and regen healing with Troll Unguent and Healing Signet, which should allow you to stay alive. Oath Shot, obviously, makes sure you have access to your stances when you need them. The only weakness is the loss of "Charge!", though for all I know that's a fatal weakness.
So, expert Runners of the world, come and bash my head in for being stupid and tell me how to fix, eh? This is intriguing me now XP

Ok healing signet is massive useless for running since you have to stop the aggro to use it and you might as well just use natural regen.
I'm not to sure about this but having whirling defense and dryder's is kind of a waste so i'd take out dryder's since whirling is obviously superior.
and then it just comes back to the build I posted but with a different elite, which I think the oath shot would be pretty smart, as long as you don't aggro too many people while using it but other then that just fine.
Wait to see what actual experts of the trade have to say about it.

Escape
Dodge
Zojuns Haste/Storm Chaser
Dryders Defences/Whirling Defences
Troll Unguent
Heal Area
Holy Veil
Mending/Rebirth/Purge Conditions
Expertise: 14
Wilderness Survival: 12
Healing Prayers: 10
Mending if you won't be seeing enchant removal. Rebirth if your running FoW Chests. Purge Conditions if.... meh i only use this in Elona Reach.
Never underestimate Holy Veil, even if against Skales where its removed before Transfer/ Siphon hit, it doubles to cast times.
Personally i prefer Dryders Defences, makes running through Elemental damage ticklish... specially Ice Imps
You'll never run to droks without Charge sadly. Its next to impossible to get past Wurms if you can't increase your run speed as well as not fall over (like Armour of Mist or Illusion of Haste). Believe me, i ran my Assassin (solo) to Droks last night and my Rit (with 3 other warrior who died halfway through Lornars ) this morning. We had 2 Wurms following us from the first area to the Trolls because 1 warrior didn't have Charge.
