Forget the MM stuff. Bring whatever non-MM sacrifice skills you've accumulated.
I did it as a N/Mo, so Weakness didn't hurt me at all. But everytime I caused Weakness on him, he used Plague Sending to send it back at me for another sac. That was the only clever innovation in my strategy.
I did NOT make the bonus, alas, but I did beat him in about a minute.

Insidious Parasite+Enfeeble+ Price of Failure.
Take Defile Flesh, Well of Blood, Well of Suffering, Shield Stance, Rez Signet.
Don't attack. Let IP be your healing, Price of Failure do the damage.
You can also go pure sacrifice damage (let the doppleganger scarifice its life away).
Stats should be Curse: Max, Tactics: upto Max, soul reaping: left
Tactics will help you defend and increase the chance that PoF will do damage.
Hope this helps.

In the event that you forget about the rez signet after you beat the doppleganger,
That and the fact that you may not have enough Sacrifice skills that the doppleganger can use to fill your bar (I hate to see an empty space on my bar).
Whatever you do, don't take the doppleganger on with melee weapons. I've tried that with my W/R. I had a hammer and went in with pure hammer skills. Guess what, it used an axe and shield then starting using Hammer skills! Talk about cheating. I beat it with about 1/2 a life bar. Thankfully, it interupted me during normal attacks, while I interupted it during some of its hammer attacks. (timing is everything, and I got lucky).

Take a big shield with you and type /sit. You will be hidden and the dopple will ignore you, everytime it turns around you can sneak to the exit.

Necro/Monk build
I used the following to beat my doppleganger:
Chilblains (Curses)
Malaise (Curses)
Defile Flesh (Curses)
Barbed Signet (Blood Magic)
Dark Pact (Blood Magic)
Demonic Flesh (Blood Magic)
Healing Breeze (Healing Prayers)
Vigorous Spirit (Healing Prayers)
Chilblains poisons the caster, Malaise gives the caster a health degen of 2 and the other Necro skills involve sacrifices. I used Demonic Flesh on myself first thing to give me a larger health pool, then cast Healing Breeze and Vigorous Spirit on myself (recasting when they wore off) and just kept hitting my doppleganger with my Truncheon. Basically, he killed himself and he did it within the bonus time.
I tried a lot of other sets of skills (I must've died 20 times!), and this is the one that worked for me. My attributes were set with Blood at 10+2, Healing Prayers at 11, and Smiting Prayers at 8 from a previous attempt. I would recommend maxing out Healing Prayers and leaving both Blood Magic and Curses at 0. Then your doppleganger would have all of the sacrifice, but none of the benefits! Hope this helps any Necro/Monks out there!

i beat him at lvl 11 by using:
-awaken the blood
-blood renewal
-OoV
-OoP
i didnt use any skills, just let him spam orders and dodged arrows
however, this requires both orders, and OoP is only in south shivs
obviously blood at 0 so BR doesnt do much

Awaken and all the high sacs you have that dont damage you very much, dodge arrows and don't use any skills. Dead with bonus everytime.

He doesn't mimic your attribute point spread, just your skills

I was ele as secondary, and I needed 3 spells to take him out, meteor, metero shower and the one that gives your fire weapon extra damage, and the fire attribute to max, even though it was 12.
The sac tactic never worked for me

If you have SS, you don't need to ascend at all. Because SS is found in Southern Shiverpeaks, which if you don't ascend, then you got a run to droks.
