Unfamiliar with locations
Hi I'm pretty new to GW, played it for about a month or 2, and even newer to Factions. Just got it a few days. I always notice people selling green and gold bows, with really unique name, for example Elswyth's Celestial Bow of Fortitude. Just an example. Not sure if it exists.
My character in Prophecies is doing Ring of Fire mission next, and I myself havn't come across any green drops, not those unique weapons. Can anyone tell me where and when will I come across any such items? I particularly wish to find myself a maxed Platinum Longbow, 15>50, with any other mods.

In Prophecies, most of the greens are in Sorrow's Furnace, entered from Grenth's Footprint (which has a few greens). The closest town is Deldrimor War Camp. It is located in the middle part of the Shiverpeak Mountains.
There is 1 green in Prophet's Path (Crystal Desert). There are 2 in The Wilds (SW corner of Maguuma Jungle). 2 greens in Talus Chute (outside of Droknar's Forge).
In Factions, there are greens pratically everywhere.

Thanks for the enlightenment. I cap Elites at Shiverspeak and Perdition Rock all the time with henchmen... do you think I can conquer Grenth's Footprint with henchmen as well?

Ah. I'll try tombs with henchmen first, testing waters. If need be I'll ask along guild mates to help.

You can do Greneth's with henchies. You can do 2 mission in Sorrow's Furnace with henchies. The other 2 missions, you cannot (as its way to hard with henchies).
The ones you can't really do are Priest Alkar and Oro. If you want to get greens, search for people doing Oro farming.

^But unfortunatly, people rarely pick up Rangers for Oro farming. It's really easy to get into a B/P group in Tombs. Just look at the build here in this forum, go to Tombs, and /selfinvite yourself to a group looking for a b/p.

I managed to farm Kepkhet's Refuge last night... pretty easy with henchies. tombs was hard. After going in then I realised how noob I was. Totally pwned by a rushing crew. Only the first level. 4 levels to go... I have a long way to improve individually, and in team aspect.
Yeah... such a crowd, Barrage would be nice there. Try again tonight.

Inexperienced rangers in the tombs won't harm that much provided there are a few rangers in their team who know their job (location of pops etc), and that the inexperienced rangers follow the group and don't engage any group or rush anywhere without asking first. Just follow your team mates, and that'll be ok.

Here's what you do to get tombs greens:
1. Go to the Ruins of the Tombs of the Primevil Kings outside Dragon's Lair
2. Spam B/P LFG, you should be accepted rather quickly.
3. Have Barrage, Savage, Distracting, whatever spirits they tell you to bring, Throw Dirt, Charm, Comfort, Res (in that order)
4. When you get in, turn off your moniter and turn on the sound. (Fun part)
5. Wait until you start hearing the pings from your puller (By the way, ask the people in your group to call, too. Saying it's more efficient like that)
6. Press 1 repeatedly until you can't. Occasionally press 2 and 3.
7. Semi-colon spacebar (to pick up items) when you can't hear any more action going on.
8. Press comfort
9. press the number of your orders nec, press spacebar (To get to the new location)
10. Turn on your moniter once in a while, if you're dead, claim you lagged or had to go get the phone, door, fight off Nazi's, etc. Then repeat steps 5~10
10 Easy steps to get greens!
