Default PVE : Edrain or MoR?

Hello Guys,

Yes, i have used the search button, but all of them were mainly gvg and pvp. I am now on a dilenma between edrain and MoR. I have both skills but i do not know what to use. In gvg, i know i use E drain hands down for offensive power and good energy management. But in PVE im clueless. I need some help and suggestions.

Thx,
BanaXX

P.S : No flame plz

The draining factor of Energy Drain is useless in PvE, so I'd recommend MoR. In PvP I recommend MoR as well though, but I guess it's still a matter of prefference, just try both.

either.

ED is instant, which is why i sometimes use it considering you do not have to fight many prolonged battles in PvE.

The draining effect of Edrain is like getting a free bag of cookies with your new Ferrari. Choosing to use it really has nothing to do with that, but it's quite nice.

Edrain has the large advantage in PvP of being energy on demand, which is where MoR fails. In PvE it shouldn't really pose much of a problem, so you may aswell go with MoR for the slightly increased energy gain.

This is why I made the switch. I use it with both my monk and my mesmer, not for the drain it puts to the enemy, but because it is ready energy I don't have to wait for. In my mind precision just wins out.

Energy on demand is exactly why I switched to Edrain. And it took me a long time to get used to it, because I was really accustomed to OoB, which I still miss.
