Default Mo/E spike healer build

Since I don’t see it listed here, I’m dropping my Mo/E concept down. Hope you like it.

16 Divine Favor (Superior Rune+headpiece)
14 Healing Prayers (major rune)

Heal Other
Jamie’s Gaze
Healing Touch
Ethereal Light
Divine Spirit
Glyph of Renewal{E}
Heal Party/Spell Shield
Rebirth/Shield Spell

Recommended Armor: +10 while Enchanted
Recommended weaponset: +20%enchant mod sword/axe w +5 energy mod; Stoneheart.+1 Healing Prayers HSR 20% chance

This build is a spike healer running on Heal Other/Jamie spams to produce phenomenal HP returns over extended fights in PvE. With High Divine Favor you can keep Divine Spirit up infinitely by casting Glyph of Renewal first. Since all spells are reduced by 5 mana, that gives you a 221 HP heal for 5 mana every 2.5 seconds. Ethereal Light is for spam combos and energy management, a 1 mana cast for 146 mana on a regular basis that can serve as a self heal atop Healing Touch.

Heal Party can be swapped for Spell Shield, but I prefer the 10 mana nuke heal and often drop my rez with party consent. Spell Shield is a prerequisite for this build, preventing Divine Spirit from being stripped and you from being interrupted at a bad time, so a choice needs to be made as to which skill to swap out for it. The 6 second cooldown is rarely an issue if you time Spell Shield properly; otherwise simply kite away before you reapply. Blessed Aura is also a valid choice, keeping Spell Shield and Divine Spirit up even longer, but Heal Party disappears when this is applied.

And thats the build

Play Fair and Good Gaming

i run a similar glyph of renewal DS healer build, but i only use 5 to cast spells... this makes me never run out of energy.

running 10 to cast spells can, potentially make you run out of energy, en management?!

So can running any build if you're careless. HOther/Jamie's is a hit to target for half its HP back for 5 mana with this build. The Emanagement comes from your ability to spike targets frequently and powerfully with just 1 spell, not a spam chain that will give you finger cramps in long missions.

Spamming them to keep players "topped up" is not something I do or endorse. If you need to slow down your spam for regen (because you're the only monk in a group that won't kite, has no self heals and is destined to die anyway and blame you for the crash) then you can chain ELgiht on the frontline and stick close to castors taking damage to touch them. Those 2 spells aren't there for show, and they aren't just for you.

Kiss can be replaced for HOther with a 2-monk heal/prot backline due to the enchant heavy environment; Orison for Jamie's with Heal Party thrown back in for Touch. This weakens the builds spike healing considerably without an enchant spammer (locking you into that 2-monk backline, and little else) so expext players to fall to mobs. Also expect Commune Rits to frown on you since all their buffs are non-enchant. And I suspect the new Paladins won't like you either since their group buffs are appearantly shouts.

But don't drop Spell Shield, ever. Even when its not anti-interupt its cover enchantment for your DS energy manager.

agreed on spell shield bit, as the build i ran usually has DS stripped, even i am way outside aggro circle

also agreed on the lack of pulling bit, as it is true that most of the time my build must stand still most of the time...

but i find spamming 5 en healer works like a charm, esp in pug's... even kamikaze assassins can usually survive several mobs...

occassionally also, enemy spams aoe/ disperse dmg to different party members, i find it useful to spam healing across all party members..

true that rit can hate me... jsut like when i like necros when they cast well of profane lol ><
