55hp Dark Bomb Build Discussion
Since this topic was discussed in the other thread I thought I might make a separate thread for it.
This thread is for discussing the N/Mo Build Revolving around the skills:
Aura of Lich {E}
Dark Aura
Touch of Agony
Wallow's Bite
PS
HB
BS
Mend
Using ToA, Wallows, and Dark Aura as the main dmg dealers.
Aura of Lich to make tanking helluva lot easier.
Personally I think this build would be better than a N/Mo Build b/c SS frequently gets interrupted.
However Using ToA and WB triggers dark aura aoe. Although I am not sure (someone please confirm) , using ToA and WB with a few seconds between them won't trigger the Dark Aura AoE. Also spamming ToA and WB would prolly make you die b/c dark aura makes you sacrafise 17hp which won't be a problem if you have 27hp. So pausing between each cast is advantageous to staying alive and not triggering AoE.
Throughout my whole experiencing playing GW, I've never seen someone use this build, and if people have... it has escaped my eyes...
So I was wondering if those of you who use this build to discuss its advantages and disadvantages or different variations of this build.

Tried it on trolls and it does trigger AoE. I used OoB instead of Aura.

OoB is literally useless for 55 monk...try out this build if you need enery next time.
Prot spirit
Healing breeze
Vigorous Spirit
Dark Aura
Cultist's Fervor
Dark Pact
Balth's Aura
Mending
Blood magic: 13
Death magic: 11
Protection: 10
Healing: 9
Rest goes to SR
It does a lot more damage and it actually gives you energy back when you use dark pact. 10E enchantments cost you just 2 energy to cast 10-7=3 energy and you gain one energy when dark aura is triggered for casting anything at all.(twice for dark pact tho so its 5-7=0 +2 energy for when DA hits you twice)

Did you take a pause between each cast?
Why dark? WHy not touch? Most of the monsters will ahve to be near you anyway for dark aura to trigger..
Also why balth's aura?
Also if you used cultists fervor wouldn't you die?
10 health for each spell you use and plus the amount you sacrafise from dark which is 18 health so thats 28 health..... your pretty much dead....

No touches...they don't trigger cultist's fervor. Trolls are always near you and the take the damage until they run away for 2 seconds. Sorry i gotta edit my post i meant Balthazar's spirit my appologies.
The sacs are exactly why you bring Vig spirit and you have 9 in healing instead of just 8. You have 1 extra regen from healing breeze giving you a full 10 and you have +14 everytime you cast or attack. I use an axe with a 20% enchanting mod i probably should use a sword because swords attack faster and i would get more out of vig spirit.
With this build you sac 9 for CF +5 for dark pact+5+5 for dark aura triggering twice.
But vigorous spirit will cancel 14 of the 24 health sac.
With other spells you cast you sac 9 health +5 for dark aura once...vigorous spirit completely covers this.
Whenever you cast any of the regular spells you will trigger dark aura and it will act as a energy managing zealot's fire.
Whenever you cast dark pact you will do 39(DA)+39(DA)+41(DP) to one target and 39+39 to all the ones around target.
If you pull to many you want to attack more than you cast and do not use dark pact just wait for some of them to run away then use dark pact and do big damage to the ones who stayed.

That sounds really simple.
I'm surprised not many people use this build....
I'm guessing b/c of the sacrafising....
Wanna post a vid or something :}?
I've been pretty lazy lately and sticking with my primary monk and kept telling myself to start making my necro, but since the nightfall is comming out this weekend and we get to discover all the new spells. I don't want to waste funds on a build that might be obsolete.
Edit:
casting ToA and WB with pauses in between prevent aoe run?
Furthermore, if I tried this on my mo/n
The the divine favor bonus would decrease the sacrifice. Making this build alot safer.
Yay! another use for my monk!!!

Sorry no video i have no idea how to make one.
This build I only use in spots that the SS can't do because the SS build is definately faster its just that some places it wont work in factions.
I definately think its better than the original dark bomber tho.

All "constructive criticism" wich was unneeded from people who completely stopped I-necro for factions because a warrior can do it all and their precious SS wasn't involved.
In this case though, I won't do a video as nobody would watch it but you...and im not into downloading stuff all the time.
