What is consider a attack? Is it physical only or skills, casters attacks are included?

Caster attacks from their wands or staves are included. My E/Me speaks from experience. Spells, however, are not included.

Does anyone know if the % chance to miss on Price of Failure stacks with the Mesmer skill Spirit of Failure? That is, if you cast both on the same enemy, will they miss 50% of the time? Or just 25%?

They have a 25% chance of missing, calculated twice.

eg: They swing once and PoF will check to see if it causes a miss (25% chance). If PoF doesn't cause a miss then SoF will check (again a 25% chance) so no, you don't get 50%

On the other hand, using distortion/blind/avoidance skill of choice, will cause the enemy to miss much more often, causing PoF to punish them.

Distortion + Price of Failure + Empathy + Spirit of Failure = fun

This skill is a great anti ranger/warrior skill.
The combo tigernz mentions is just amazing. You can even add in a spiteful too if you wanna be real nasty

If they keep attacking they will die, atleast -50 hp every attack, think about it. In this case you win.
If they stop attacking you they can't really do anything, again you win

Mesmers can take most advantage of this skill because it has a rather long casting time. But it's useful for any caster.

Slightly better in pvp but still very useful in pve aswell. Try and combine it with other skills like the ones mentioned.

I always use this in combination with rigor mortis and have five or six minoins surround my nemises. It's the easiest fight combo i've ever used, and it takes down my friends pretty quickly.
