Default Boon Prot -vs- BL prot -vs- RC prot

I've been playing a boon prot for a bit now, it's really sparked my intrest in monking. But I was wondering how these other builds compare to a straight Boon Prot build. When would use one over the other? Why would it be better than the other?

Boon prot is widely considered the best single-monk healing machine. It can single-handedly handle healing, protection, condition removal, and hex removal. If you're the only monk in a group (or the group will/might split) boon prot is usually the way to go.

Blessed light prot is really nice for hex/condition removal, but lacks in straight heals over long periods of time. I usually run BL prot when playing PvE with a pug monk partner. I can usually count on the pug to spam random heals with no care for hexes or conditions, and can thus focus most of my energy on keeping the party clean.

I wouldn't recommend RC prot unless you have a 3 monk backline, and require a ton of condition removal and protection. RC prots don't provide much healing, and really don't tend to see much use outside HA.
