Default Can you change the target spirits attack?

When i place a spirit down i want to change who it attacks. How does a spirit pick its target? Does it pick the closest person? Does it only attack 1 person or keep switching?

I think it is random when all of the foes are above 50% health. I`m pretty sure that when a target is below 50% health, the spirits will automatically target them.

If you have 2 rits and they both put displacement down will they both take damage when an attacked is evaded? Or will each spirit take in turns evading attacks?

I thought you could have only 1 spirit-type at a time (i.e. 1 pain, 1 restoration...etc).

When the second rit casts displacement, the displacement spirit the first rit made disappears, leaving only the 2nd one. Right?

Otherwise, groups with multiple ritualists could really fill the area with spirits.

Shelter never seems to take damage. Does it cover up cover dmage from spells or just melle attacks? Would it help vs eoe or air spike?

Thou art correct in thine assumption. Very wise you have become, young Padawan.

Shelter is a party-wide Spirit version of the Monk spell Protective Spirit. Therefore, anything Protective Spirit would reduce damage from, Shelter will as well. A vague answer, but it's currently the best I have...

It's possible to put 2 spirits of the same type down at a distance of a little over 2/3 of the radar apart from one another. So you could put down 2 Displacements and then stand within range of each one (although they wouldn't be in range of each other). However, both spirits will take damage each time you evade. They will not take turns taking damage when you evade. Same goes for Shelter and Union.

You can place offensive spirits far enough from one another and still have them attack the same target, although one of them would need to be on a higher area for the greater attack range.

You could really abuse Destruction using that method. Get a few rits to seperate and Draw Spirit back together.... massive unreducable damage.

I was doing THK today, the spirits never seemed to attack things on the edge of the agro until you targetted it... then they all went straight for it.

Spirits attack targets in the following priority:

Nonmoving enemies > Enemy in Melee range > Enemies with low armor > enemies with low hp

From what I've personally experienced, they will not change targets when you do. Chances are, they're switching to attack the enemy with the lowest hp%, which is the one you're attacking.
