Atra's Lonely Ssyn Farm...
IMPORTANT
I've added a GuildWiki build page for this build: http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/N/Mo_Boss_Farmer
The wiki page details how to make the build and also gives a list of bosses known to be farmable with this build.
For specific instructions on how to kill each boss please continue reading through this Guru thread.
Well I was neglecting my poor necro, Atra Lucia, because I was on my monk so much farming Shiro'ken. So I decided to see what PS/SB could do for Atra.
The Bad News:
You can't solo Shiro.
The Good News:
Ssyn Coiled Grasp can be farmed much more easily on a PS/SB Necro than a 55hp iNecro. Of course it all comes down to Blood and Protection.
Here's what you'll need:
1. +5e/20% longer enchant weapon. I prefer using Rajazan's Fervor because it's nice looking, but a Totem Axe will get the job done.
2. 20/20 Offhand for Blood or Prot. Honestly it doesn't matter. You just want the extra energy. I have a blood offhand that I use even though the build doesn't use any blood spells. If you have a 20/20 prot offhand then by all means use it. It won't matter though, because both Prot spells are 1/4 cast and reasonablly fast recharge. Still, I'd go prot if you're new to farming.
3. 15AL chest, arms, pants and shoes from Shing Jae.
4. 60AL head scar with Superior Blood Rune and intrinsic +1 to Blood Magic.
The build (no elite!)
Spirit Bond
Protective Spirit
Touch of Agony
Wallow's Bite
Vampiric Bite / Vampiric Touch (can leave open if you want)
Plauge Touch
Essence Bond
Balthazar's Spirit
Attributes:
16 (12 + 1 + 3) Blood
12 Protection
The Farm:
1. Leave from Jade Flats to the Archipelagos.
2. Pre-cast Essence Bond and Balthazar's Spirit
3. Get a blessing from the Priest at the shrine. (optional)
4. As you run up the stairs to the first mob (2 Kappas and a Naga Rit) cast PS/SB.
5. Run through to the next group which are typically 2 Naga warriors, a Naga archer and a Naga Rit.
6. Run through this group as well and head over the bridge. Be careful to renew PS/SB as needed.
7. Past the bridge you should see Ssyn. Run to Ssyn while renewing PS/SB.
8. As you aggro the other Naga in Ssyn's mob make sure to get right next to Ssyn. Keep renweing PS/SB.
9. Now... start your touching. You will get your touches interrupted a lot. This is normal and expected. In fact it's desirable. The Naga Warriors will use their energy to interrupt your touch skills which recharge pretty quickly. After you see a touch interrupted refresh either PS/SB. Always follow an interrupted touch skill with a refresh of PS/SB. I refresh PS/SB earlier than needed because I don't want to be at the end of either and have my refresh interrupted. Energy is not an issue. You are holding aggro of at least 8-12 Nagas plus Ssyn.
9. Keep touching/refreshing until Ssyn is dead.
10. Claim loot if any.
NOTE: If you get Dazed by Concussion Shot (which hasn't happened to me yet) then Plague Touch it onto Ssyn and keep going.
This farming method is likely to trigger anti-farming code because you are only killing one foe near a map transition. Do not post here asking me why you never got the drop when you farmed Ssyn 150+ times. Farm Ssyn 10 times and move on to something else if you don't get the drop. Rotate your crops people!
Regards,
MelechRic

Nice build, I've tried it like 3 or 4 times, and I'm wondering what weapon does he drop?
EDIT: What does his staff sell for? I just got one ^_^

Yeah, I may do that. The best I could do is post his death and him dropping something. I've probably hit some anti-farming code since I've been farming Shiro'ken like a fiend. I need to go be a good Samaritan and help some people through the Shiro mission in Factions. That will reset the code.
If I make a video it will be on YouTube. Sadly, I'm not too good with videos. I have Fraps, but I don't have all the cool apps to edit and overlay a soundtrack.

He drops a staff that quite a few Ritualists seem to want. I've been able to sell them pretty quickly when I get them.

My guess would be any boss that doesn't:
Strip/shatter enchants or have an enchant stripping mob.
Heal like mad.
but does have:
A mob that does a lot of physical damage since you need energy for your touch skills.
You'll have to venture out and see what's out there. I'm going to run around with this build a bit myself and see if there are any other bosses that fall into the above category.
Naturally, bosses that have Outcasts/Carp in their mob will be un-soloable. I'm wondering if Jayne might be doable. The problem would be mesmer wardens that shatter enchants. You'd probably need to bring a cover enchant like Reversal of Fortune.
I'll report back as I find new information. The build is definitely like a "heat-seeking missle" in that it goes straight for its target and destroys it.

Go to the price check boards and look at the Canthan green pricing thread. I think I was selling them for around 35-50k when I had them.
I assume prices will drop soon though.
EDIT: Here is the thread: http://guildwarsguru.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3036210
Looks like prices have fallen off already. (20-30k)

Sessk Woespreader... destroyed!
After killing Sessk I proceeded to kill the rest of the Naga. Rangers, then Ritualists, and finally the Warriors.
I will admit the last Warrior was slow because I had to be careful with my energy.
EDIT: As a bonus if you can touch off the disease from Rotting Flesh you will start to degen the warriors.

Sarss, Stormscale... destroyed!
I'm unsure if he drops a green, but he is soloable. He's very slow because he uses Aura of Restoration and spams a lot of air spells.
EDIT: No green drop. Don't bother unless ANet adds something in a patch.

Thanks!
As for getting to Cantha... you'd better hurry. I'm beginning to think that PS/SB thing is too good to last.
I'll post more finds as I make them. Hopefully others will contribute to this thread as well.

Add "Orosen, Tranquil Acolyte" to the list of easy to kill targets he heals himself a lot, but your doing more damage than he can heal. He's outside of Senji's corner across the bridge, usually his group is about 5 - 6 Jade brotherhood knights, and He spams Soothing Memories.
Edit: Sometimes his little mob has quite a few mesmers, and their damage is too low to trigger SB, so if you encounter more than 2 mesmers, I would just rezone.

Do you think its possible for a Mo/N to do this? 15 prot, 12 blood and rest into DF. I'm working on my monk tonight, gonna try to beat factions with him so I guess I could make some stops if it works

It might be. The key is finding targets that can't outheal your damage. Ssyn has no healing to speak so he's easy. Sessk has healing from Parasitic Bond, but I think you're going to be okay there. Sassr was slow because he could nearly restore his health as fast as I could damage him. (Eventually I noticed I was winning.)
I'd try it and see. I orignally leveled my Monk as a Mo/N so I might just try it too.

Strongroot would be a total coup. I don't think he's possible because of the necros around him (blood drinkers) but give it a whirl.
I'm hoping that the build get's tested in a lot of different areas. I'm thinking about going after Wind Three Blade and maybe Ghail.
I've also got a hunch that Xuekao is soloable with this build. As would Arrahhs Mountainclub.
I think that all the bosses in Mount Qinkai may be soloable too. (The monk boss may not because he's got decent healing.) There's a lot of melee damage there without much worry of enchant strip/removal.
Since I'm Luxon I'm not super familiar with Echovald Forest. I'd hazard a guess that there may be a few spots there where it's worth trying this build.

Just killed Foalcrest Darkwish. I'd rate it as a medium farm because you need to be careful with your energy. His mob is small and being too agressive with Vampiric Touch can get you into trouble. You also have to navigate past another warden mob. If you aggro them and get crippled by traps you're going to have it tough.

Well, Jayne is out... too much enchantment removal in his mob. Also, the Kirin with their Barbs spam destroys this build. That low damage just isn't enough to trigger SB, but it's enough to whittle you down to zero health.
Wardens are very tough. With the healing from Ritualist Wardens and enchantment removal from the mesmer ones, you have some serious problems.
EDIT:
Found out that it won't work for Wing Three Blade and probably not for any other Jade bosses. The problem is the Jade Elementalists with Conjure Flame. It's the same type of damage as Barbs... tiny and not enough to trigger SB. So it's death by a thousand paper cuts.
