We've all had them... Moments where we got a "special" drop but just couldn't get at it in time to pick them up... May it be a green, an ecto or a gold item... maybe even a rare skin weapon.

I remember the first time i got a green drop from scar eater, I saw the green then my screen froze... lag... I had to exit the game. The other time i remember was a Dying nightmare blindsided me... rended and killed me then dropped a gold forked sword...

Whatever that "painful screenshot" is that you have share it in this thread, so the more you laugh at it the less it hurts... LOL!

So here's my most recent one.

practicing with my elem/assassin in the tombs.... finally getting the first payload... I fumble and... take a "painful screenshot".

Oooh ouch sorry for your loss. For me, I've had many misfrtunes on my travels through Elona. But sadly have never got the chance to take a screenshot...

Sadly, I do not have a screenshot to share, but instead I will depict a vivid image using words!

On a lovely spring day in Pre-searing I was frolicking in the lush fields when I huge meteor hit me! It was the start of the great battle and my journey to post-searing. I defeated the masses of enemies to find myself head-to-head against a mean looking Charr boss. I pulled out my long sword and quickly decapitated him. As he fell to the ground a shinning black dye dropped out of his pocket. I jumped to grab the dye, but I was to slow for the mighty reflexes of the cinematic cut-scene! My view slowly drifted across the screen and the camera panned out into the destruction that was unfolding. As the camera slowly panned over the ground my beautiful sparkling black dye caught my eye. I slowly watched it disappear from sight in agony. Promptly, I skipped the cut-scene right after I saw Gwen happily frolicking in the fields. Her happiness reminded me of my former self.

when tombs assn soloing, I take a monk and just park him at the start. He won't steal drops once he's grayed, just half the gold. Would have saved you an ecto at the very least.

wow , that happened when i 55'ed before ,i was so pissed ,but that just drove me to farm 3 ectos in 1 night lol

You aim for the ecto but you click the dust, because youre so dizzy and disoriented from all the teleporting! hehehe

I remember a 2 man with a pick-up monk when a gold, req 8 eternal bow dropped for me and he got overwhelmed by smites....I had already used my sig (because he wasn't that great) and tried to run to get it. I died about 3 feet away from it. It literally hurt my heart. lol

most painful: When an old guildie and I were dual farming but I died, so he dropped 6 ectoplasm on the ground right in front of my corpse. He then error 7ed, and I ressed. 4 feet away from the MOUND of ecto, and I get blown away. I then res again, only to discover a mob around the shrine. I just had to give up.

Yeah, i had an ecto drop for me in tombs when i was using my E/A solo build, but i couldnt get to it in time and died infront of it. that was about a week and half ago, and i had got about 10 ectos in total that day from tombs. oddly though i haven't had one ecto drop for me since then, tried everything to break that ''anti-farm code'' (which i never triggerd) and still nothing.. im coming to belive that the first floor was nerfed or something, if anyone knows if it has been nerfed or not any info would be appriciated.

EDIT: Well.. i just got an ecto tonight, christ i must have had some bad luck for all that time or something.. lol.
