well let me just say this IS a nice heal, 5 energy, 1/4 cast time, 2 recharge and heals for 75 health before DF. I wanted to try and use it competitively, have a nice spell to work with RoF.

13/14 Divine Favor (14/15 with major rune)
11/10 Protection
10/10 Healing
4/3 Shadow Arts

Glimmer of Light
Shield of Absorption
Reversal of Fortune
Signet of Devotion
Return/Death's Retreat
Infuse Health
Dismiss Condition
Holy Veil

So i have this nice build here, im accustomed to BLing, but recently capped this skill, and it works wonderfully. Although i find myself running out of energy (in TA and RA at least). I recently threw in Signet of Devotion for some healing and energy management, but it obviously isnt quite enough.

Im thinking of Heal Other, but thats 10 energy! I could switch to /ele and bring GoLE, but id rather use those sneaky ninja skills of monkage

any suggestions on a build?

Except that at your attribute spec it's only healing for 65 before DF.

tbh if you can't manage your energy as a Mo/A that's because you're not playing it well/right. The point of going /A is so that you mitigate the damage on yourself (since you'll typically be the target of attack by at least one of the opposing team members) with some sort of movement. That meaning you spend less energy on yourself, equaling energy management. If you can't do that, I would highly suggest the switch to /E.

And tbh, infuse has no place in RA/TA espeically considering you already have a 1/4's heal. There are a couple things you could bring instead, prot spirit being a nice option.

im not sure if its just me trying to adjust to a new monk build (ive been using BL for a while and do great energywise with that)

this is mainly a GvG build really, and switching to /e wouldnt help much IMO because all the usual spells are 5 energy to begin with

If you really wanted to use Glimmer of Light, you may want to consider Channeling (with a mesmer secondary) to help you with GoL spamming. Protective Spirit would be a nice thing to have also. Reversal of Fortune is nice if something happens to your Glimmer of Light (Diversion, Signet of Humility, etc.) but probably not necessary. Mesmer also opens up the possibility of Inspired Hex and Hex Breaker. I'd probably run a build like this.

Protective Spirit
Shield of Absorption
Dismiss Condition
Inspired Hex
Hex Breaker
Channeling

Lol triple post. How are you having energy management if you're running 5 energy spells? Only thing that could cause that are e-denial and wither necro on this build (unless you're spamming everything wtf) I don't run SoA or infuse, I'd swap out for prot spirit and return (i like to run return and death's retreat in arenas because i usually see a lot of melee: thumpers, warriors, sins)
