Dunno about the first one, but a furious weapon mod will only apply to attacks.
This means you will get one extra strike of adrenaline seperately, so you'll only get 7 adrenaline.

I believe you are wrong.
The +1 adrenalin from striking the foe normally has a 10% chance to be doubled, as does the +3 from Steady Stance. Meaning you could get 4, 5, 7, or 8 adrenalin (with the middle two being equally likely, and 8 being only a 1% chance).

as despiration blow inflicts a KD after you attack, and steady stance prevents that KD, i'd say you'd still be in a stance when you attack, thus getting the damage bonus.
if you want to be sure, go to isle of the nameless and check the damage numbers on the targets, using a 15 stance and 15>50 weapon, and see if there is any difference.

All I know is that Steady Stance + furious mod can charge my Disrupting Chop in 1 hit. That's 6 adrenaline or more.

If you wanted to test to see if you are getting the damage bonus could you not use drunken/desperation blow on a test target while using a weapon that is 15^50 then compare the damage to using it while under steady stance then hitting with a 15% while in stance mod?
