What is the "best" or at least your favorite GREEN staff or staff/offhand. I am not counting the Forgotten, wayward, or DoA weps just drops from normal boss kills. I have gotten lots of drops but never any staff or wand except monk stuff, so I am getting ready to farm for one and was curious which one you thought was the best one.

for "old fashion" nuking I used to use the 20/20 offhand and wand that you can get at vasburg armory (may be there are other places but don't know), gotta love those lucky 1.5sec meteor shower castings

for general use, ragos staff

and lately i've been using a 20% HSR +30hp fire offhand with a 10% HSR 20% Enchants sword or a +5nrg +30hp sword

I checked the staf, looks good...but my armor is all radiant and attunment mods for energy so I would like one with same stats but +30 (or +60 if there is one) instead of the 20% enchant..is there a green like that?

nevermind I finally found it ..closest is Koosun's Fire Staff, but will be a nightmare to get, oh well..nothing better to do until GW 4 comes out

wayward wand and traw effigy or ragos staff.

with fire i tend to watch my skill if i have lots of long recharge skills i take what will give me the highest chance for fast recharge and if i have lots of long casts i look for the best fast cast weapons i have.

Im using the same. I've been annoyed that I couldn't find a decent fire weapon setup for my 2nd Elementalist. Ragos staff has always been my prefered. Since a Hajkor's Flame dropped for me I've been using this with a 20/20 off-hand. The half casting time and recharge of spells is normally always hit. At times you can even hit that 20% and then the second 20% with one spell. Making Meteor Shower cast in just over 1 second.

You need to change your armor, direly.

the mindclouder is pretty nifty. a huge energy pool is far more valuable than the pitiful amount of normal damage a fire staff would do. as for armor, i go Blessed. i'm always attuned and aura'd so having a constant +10 armor is handier than health or energy.

There's absolutely no reason to have radiant armor and a 20 energy staff when you have glyph of lesser energy, attunements, and ether prodigy.

Unless you're bad at guild wars.

Also, while I love having a large energy-pool, Radiant Armor for an Ele really makes no sense mate... So you may wanna revise that!

(PS: You may wanna look into the sword/axe/spear + shield combos mentioned there... Although they take a lil' getting used to at first, the extra Armor + 20% enchants work out very well!)

Seconded. <Element> Attunement + Glyph of Lesser Energy. Nothing else is required for e-management on an Elementalist. Extra armor is far better than extra energy.

Koosun's staff is a nice staff, but a bit hard to get because it is hard to farm. Exuro's will is not a bad staff either.

I use a perfect Hale Fire Staff of Fortitude with 20/20. I like it very much because it makes up for my sup fire rune. Its not fun to be ganged by warriors. Try koosuns... i got the drop once after farming for 1 hour, but i was probably very lucky, looking at the other posts. (It is good money too... i sold for 45k!)

Hajkor's flame (green wand):
11-22 damage (rq. 9 fire magic)
20% HSR
20% HCT

Flame Artifact (blue offhand):
Energy +12 (rq. 9 fire magic)
20% HSR
20% HCT

2x 20/20 is best to use in my oppinion. Gotta love recharge of 20 seconds when it has been removed with ench. removal xD
