this is about chestuning in Nightfallen Jahai a place between gate of the nightfallen lands and the gate of torment, u will ususaly enter via gate of torment, however

1. introduction

Nightfallen Jahai is a fairly hard place to run you wil get hexed, and there are a few places (mainly in center of the map and near the portal to gate of the nightfallen lands) you will need someting to prevent you for geting hexed to dead, the perfect opinion is shadow form of spellbreaker, you can also use avator of dwyanna or vow of cilence+explunge enchantements, i stuggent to chane ur secondary to /a and cap mist form, wich is far superior from others(unless u are monk)

these assasin skills are whorth taking as a secondary
dash
dark escape
mist form [E]
shadowy refudge
frigid neuterality
shadow of hasthe

this means you have 2 opional slots, these depents on your primary

ele:
storm djins hasthe (seriously, this is the best runing spell ever)
mist form (far from superior, however)
whirlbone speed (you want to help ur mates?)
necro:
necro dont had any skills worth taking, unless u dont have faction u can take grents balance...
monk:
spellbreaker annyone? dont forget some heals too(heal area, divine interception)
mesmer:
absolutely no reson to not take iliusion of wakness, dont forget it, not much else to take thougth
ranger:
dodge+the clone is all what u need, near always 33 speed boost for almost no energy? yes!, dont ferget troll unugent too
warior:
do i evan have to start? srpint, signet of stamina and endure pain will give you 1000+ hp, only activate after shadow form ends , its useless if u use before
rit:
Resilient weapon and Generous was Tsungrai are usefull skills also others likevital boon and suck can be usefull
assasin:
great, you are the profesion everybody takes as 2nd, you can take loonger shadow form and u can keep ur 50% dmg reducion always on, go for it!
paragon:
near useless imo, except the wondefull fall back, take this one , its well worth the 1k
derv:
bad!!!!!! lol just joking, you can have 20 secs vow of silence on and have a few nice spells, consirder making a dervish?

2. map

check and learn

1 this is your starting point, if you dont understand this, f*** off and go chestruning in istan instand, what? dont know what istan is...... euuu... consirder trashing gw into the nearest recycle depot and go playing runescape
2 at this point u meet some enamies, you will often not agro them but sometimes there is a chest
3 walk down the road and scan for chests, if not go back up and take the right fork
4 the bridge, there are some enamies here. dont ferget using shadow form or you will die in seconds
5 near portal, there are alot of enemies here, if you think you are going to die grab the res point and you will be fine
6 treasure cheat here, use shadow of hasthe and run there and then teleport back
7 take the left fork and u see an open arena where often are 1~2 chests floating around return and take right fork
8 check for chests here and then return(after opeing em, duh!)
9 u can avoid enamies here, if you die it doesnt bother since the res schrine(two) are 5 inches away
10 end of the run there are alot en enamies here and sometimes a chest

SWORDS:fellblade, ??elemental sword??, fiery dragon sword,
AXES:aincent/winged axe, cleaver,
HAMERS:
SCHYTHES:ancient/duskblade/elegant/suntouched scythe,
DAGGERS:aincent/steel daggers
SPEARS:spiraling spear,
BOWS:bladed recuive/requive bow, stoneshard hornbow
STAVES:fire/earth/hypnotic/conjuring/jelwelred staff,
WANDS:blazing wing/spawning wand
FOCUS:flame/gilded artifict, healing ankh, chimeric eye, jeweled chalice, skull brush
ARMORS:margonite armor,

4. credits
fat firepower, aka meat shied, and graywing for the "map" all others i found where messed up hehe, tnx!

Rits have Resilient weapon, Generous was Tsungrai so i wouldnt call them totally USELESS

I've actually been doing this for some time, and have formed the perfect solo build for ANY class (easiest with caster because of energy).

slightly different from what you said, just thought i'd share what i've learned to be easiest

ANY/Assassin

12 Shadow

Skills = Shadow of Haste, Shadow Form, Dash (three main skills)

Then take Shadow Refuge for healing after Shadow Form and take Death's Charge to cover more ground.

Usage:
1. Use Shadow of Haste outside of aggro.
2. Get to edge of the aggro and Shadow form.
3. Run to chest, open, get the item.
4. Click Dash, which cancels Shadow of Haste, and returns you out of aggro, safe from harm.
5. Dance with your new gold (usually).

As for running from chest to chest, spam dash and use Shadow Form when necessary and use Death's Charge to shadowstep to the back of the aggro you are running into, then dash to loose aggro, but most aggro can be avoided.

This is very efficient and I've only died maybe twice from mistakes of my own.

im actualy doing exactly the same, except that im using storm djins hashe before shadow form te speed me up

well...you can find MANY blazing wing wands (or something) there

i have ran over 300 chests there with my dervish since the release of nightfall and the best item i found was a req 10 gold 15^50 fellblade which i sold for 175k

i found some fds there too.

anyway...no elemental sword for me yet

Ok, well. Under your sin skills you have said "mist form", do you mean shadow form?

Also for mesmers when you say there's nothing much else..take illusion of haste

Apart from that ..looks pretty good to me

Wouldn't it be good Idea to bring along henchies to simulate an 8 person group. Then you can send em off the radar and get more stuff from the chest.
