Post D/W ahh here we go again

Though i don't usually post my builds anywhere i said that i would.. plus i plain on creating a new build with in the near future. so here goes

Though i'm sure you all have veriations on this build to some extent. I didn't take it off of wiki.. i didn't scout the forums for it. i sat down and carefully thought it out. it has been tested in PvE and PvP. Though not very sucessful against Rits but that could just be me. it was tested in RA several times i even had other people test it out to let me know what they thought about it. Though all i got was "its very nice".

PvE Build

Brawlers armor (+10 while attacking) - can be interchanged with Windwalkers

Scythe Mastery 16 (+1 +3)
Earth Prayers 3
Mysticism 12

current HP - 521 with scythe 491 without
energy is base 25

Skills
Crippling Sweep: can be interchanged with Wild blow : personally i just got tired of chasing monks.
Victorious Sweep: added HP regen
Mystic Sweep
Reaper's Sweep
Zealous Renewal: i've found that it gives back a good percentage of energy but if you want to switch it with a different skill go right ahead
Mystic Vigor
Faithful Intervention: Fail Safe
Vital Boon: Can be switched with a rez sig if you fell like you need one. I generally don't fell like i need one cause i'm doing Hero/Hench a large percentage of the time and they keep me alive almost all of the time.

PvP:
Same build just switch Vital Boon for rez sig.
Used: generally as soon as i enter an area i hit Faithful Intervention. before a fight hit Zealous so that by the time your fighting you have regened the energy. when you start fighting hit Mystic. If you have a rez sig you should be done. if not then hit Vital when you feel you must. other then that you should be able to handle most of the attacks.
Problems with this build: degens, degens, degens though with a good monk you shouldn't have any problems.

Practical uses: Farming and PvE : Since personally i don't really PvP that much so i suggest that you use it at your own risk

Edit: Now that i've taken a look at what it looks like on the forum it should probably be moved to the builds thread: thanks

yeah.

i looked at the mass of completely unformated text and decided not to read it. can you format it a bit? maybe space things out a little?

also, as said above, does the /W even matter? why not just make it D/x?

I edited it so that it is now properly spread out

ok so theoritically you don't really need Warrior as a secondary but since The gates of madness kinda requires somebody to have Wild Blow. It kinda helps out in the end to have Warrior as your secondary. Though its not necessary until that part nor is it necessary after. But since its a good universal build then you can still consider it a D/x build. As for the Formating of this build.. i'm still kinda new to this forum and have yet to figure that part out. if you could redirect me to someplace that explains it i would be happy to change it to a more read able format.

Well I wrote a post, but then realized it was pretty much the same as my post in the other thread.

In short, I'd say drop Crip Sweep for PvE unless you really wanna control aggro, and add WB or another attack skill, such as Ermite's Attack or Lyssa's Assault. However, in PvP, you need Crip Sweep because you have no speed buff. I'd replace Victorious Sweep for WB, but that's just me.

Oh yeah, and Mystic Regen ftw.

I think you should trash Zealous Renewal. It has diminishing energy returns, meaning the 10E investment is just a waste of time. Replace ZR with your res sig, and replace Mystic Vigor with Mystic Regen. Mystic Regen is much more reliable, and isn't restricted under the "hit-foes-to-heal" condition.

I'm not sure if this is a good suggestion, but here it goes (take it with a grain of salt): Use wounding strike instead of reaper's sweep. I have used reaper's in pvp for a while now, and I have realized that I rarely apply deep wound, and when i do, the target is pretty much dead. Use wounding strike primarily, then pound on the target with other +dmg skills.

the build has only 3 in earth magic, for +3 regen per ench it must ahve at least 8, in this case mystic vigor is better, as for reapers and wounding, in 4vs4 i preffer reapers beacose of +42 dmg and Deep Wound, wounding strike is usefull only if there is a LOT of enemies to give Deep Wound and bleeding

I would never take Reaper's over Wounding in PvP*. Don't forget that in addition to the health reduction Deep Wound also causes any healing effects on that player to be reduced by 20%, so it's worth applying early and often.

Nah, if anything it's relatively ineffective. A better approach is simply to use low-package frequent damage as well as life-stealing effects to keep Battle Scars from charging up in the first place. Shiro's not dangerous until Impossible Odds anyway, and when that happens you don't have that many chances to land the Wild Blow.

*Well, maybe if the build had zero enchantments for some reason.

This build was originally built so that the enchantments would not be stripped in anyway. That being said Wounding Strike was part of the build originally and i could see how it would be better in PvP but IMO Reapers Sweep has a better output of damage hince its better for PvE. Which is what the primary of this build is for. thought I do suggest if you want to change it in some way so that its suits you better for PvP then by all means go right ahead.

I did Test this build in PvP in RA i ran it several times just to see how well it would work. It was successful 8/10 times

As for energy and Zealous Benadiction it helps to have a Zealous Scythe such as Eyes of the Forgotten or a Zealous mod that way when you do use Zealous Benadiction your not wiped completely clean of energy.
