exactly... elites are bonus skills tht NO one shud ever base their build on, all elites have their downside, not just avatars. Reaper sweep, 8 sec recharge, u cant relly get their health down to 50% when priests are around.

Avatars : Quite useful. i built a build not based on avatars then added it in, its a great power up, use in a case of emergency, and basically only 1 min recharge if it lasts full duration (mines usualy do). 1 min is all the time u need to kill most monsters (especially with power ups like lyssa, whamp 3 hits priests dead, 3 hits = sumtimes less than 3 secs.

BALTHAzar: not completely useless my friends, in some pve areas or pvp, dwayna and melundrus health stuff dun always save u (but mostly) if ur up against sumthin tht deals like 200 dmg per hit (bosses) the +40 armour reduces it to sumtimes 100 or less

So we cant say avatar sux, cause they're powerful and cruel and cool. ppl hu fink they suck dun use them enough yet to get expeirence or plain never used them. They fink sum other elites can over power them easily, not true.

Quick xample.
Reaper sweep against dwayna : try gettin her health down to 50 percent, reaper sweep once every 8 secs, random skills once every 0.5 secs, usin 3 skills equals + 150 health

VoS against Grenth or other avatars: hex and rending sweep will finish u off quick, not to mention if ur enemy is grenth, no chance u'll win

Other skills like invoke lightning: err it takes time to cast and errr lysaa pwns u in 3 secs
