rapid healer, arenas and pve
Hi,
Edit: Sorry dont know how to make pictures come up...
[build prof=Mo/W hea=12 div=12 tac=3][Words of Comfort] [Healing Touch] [Healing Whisper][Orison of Healing] [Contemplation of Purity] [Resurrection Chant][Holy Haste] [Healer's Covenant]
ATMRjhcdG6aOx3lRYJoxKtcF
First I would like to say that any feedback would be helpful for this build does have some weaknesess, I would have to say that overall it is not as effective as the ZB monk, but it is something different and not generally seen.
But for PvE I must say that if you dont mind a little micromanagement, the Heros run this build very well for is plays into their love for spamming.
Strengths in arenas: excellent vs energy denial, I usually have 3 sets of weapons, a req 7 +45 enchanted shield that I just found allowed me to drop a few points out of devine and up my tactics. you could throw in some sort of stace if you wanted but this has not been tested. the other 2 sets are the typical and the +15 but only in emergencys.
with COP you have a nice defence vs hexs and conditions SV life siphon ect. Word of confort is helpful against mass degen for the team.
Weakness: no hex removal for team, thats were I'm struggling usually get overwelmed especially if I'm taking alought of phisical damage at the time. But your fast heals will keep up under heavy prussure for awhile. also if you dont remove hexs that hurt fastcasters then your dead.
Overall it needs some work, and takes awhile to master in PvP, but in PVE it is one of my favorite healing builds for the hero as long as you force cast the enchantments.
O btw rez chant can be replaced with the sig but with this you still get a 3 sec rez.

It probably works alright in PvE, but I wouldn't use a build like that in PvP. You already mentioned that you have no hex removal for the rest of you team which is a problem. This build also has no condition removal for the rest of your team (dont want any blind wammos). Also there is no prot. I know that the attribute spread could be a little tricky in a build like this, something like a prot spirit is nice to have and because its duration and not its effectiveness is relative to your level in prot prayers, you might be able to work it in. Also, a monk with a hard rez in PvP is a no no, who's going to be doing the healing while you're hard rezing your team? I never have any kind of rez on my monk's bar unless I'm PvEing.
Overall it just seems like a build made just to be different, not to be effective. If it works for you and you enjoy playing it, try and find ways to incorporate the things you like about it but also look for ways to fix its weaknesses. For PvE, pretty much anything goes so I won't comment about its effectiveness there.

Ok I will take your sugestion and drop the rez and throw on mend condition, just get so disappointed when no one else brings a rez.
Just for clarification if it was not already apparent, no I did not bring a 6 sec rez into the arenas, it is cut down by haste to 3 sec.
Thanks gonna go try now

Humm not bad, I tried it out and as the fisrt poster suggested I dropped rez for mend aliment. most of the sin spikes and others I could quickly out heal, while easily keeping myself alive.
Maybe you could be more specific with what hexs your having problems with COP you can usually takes care of yourself and I was able to to keep up healing on the rest of the part. However Haste has a 10 sec recharage so just carfully time COP.
I must say very energy efficent but theres alought you must contend with, spam healing, maintainng the enchantment, timming COP, not as easy as the ZB monk.

Thank you for testing before judging, much appreciated and your right I forgot to add the rune numbers. I mentioned before however that somtimes I drop points into tactics because I happen to have a req 7 shield, nice 16 armor and 45 health.
But I guess it seems like you guys are saying it can no way compare to the ZB monk becuase healing doesnt have the power, o well I'm gonna still tweek with it some more and of course more comments would be nice.
Thanks.
