Default Choking gas R/W(?)

So I was reading through the guildwiki from work and came across the build for a Choking Gas interrupt ranger. Fair enough, its been done to death but as I read I goto wondering... Why would the discussion for IAS stances revolve around warrior ones (flurry/frenzy/flail) instead of the ranger stances (lightning reflexes)? You already have points into Expertise and this build is about the interrupt not the extra damage.

Am I missing something? Is there a good reason to go /W as your secondary on this instead of ... any other class?

Fenzy and Flurry can be kept up constantly (Flail can on a ranger if used with Barrage, but not with a single shot build like Choking Gas + Practiced) while Lightning Reflexes and such can't. Tiger's Fury used to be a good skill to use with it until they nerfed the IAS from 33% to 25% increase.

Lightning Reflexes still has a use with a Choking + Practiced ranger, but only as a cancel stance to switch to if you are being attacked.

/Warrior is used because as one poster said Frenzy and Flurry can be kept up constantly, where as Lightning Reflexes can't.

Running Quickshot = no Practiced Stance = no continual Choking Gas

Choking Gas without Practice Stance just isn't technically sound. Lightning Reflexes is never talked about because in comparison to the warrior IAS stances, that are mostly unlinked to any attribute, are just more reliable. Even Flail, lasting 5 seconds without any strenghth attribute, is based on adrenaline, so that is renewable in a better way than LR.

It's as the others said. It's just academic.
